The best restaurant, nice environment, sincere service, delicious food, bread， meat, and rice ( my favorite ), and cake, fruit 🍌 🍊, Every dish, every detail is so attentive!

Delicious!! Great for those who want to have a full-on local experience. Situated in an ancient farmhouse with meter thick stone walls. There is no menu and no pricing up front and communications need to get creative if you don't speak Portuguese. You may have a choice of one or two things or no choice at all; you get served what the ladies and granny the cook have decided to make that day, and I can promise you they know how to cook a delightful meal. There is no gourmet chef out there that wouldn't lick his fingers after eating this simple family farm style food. And don't worry about the pricing; who can complain about 10-15 euros a person for a full meal drinks included. I hope to go back some day....

We came after the kitchen closes but she was kind enough to cook us whatever was available. The food was excellent!

A finding! Highly reccomend! We came here by chance, as it was mid afternoon and every other place was closed. This is exactly the type of Portugese restaurant we love and why we keep returning to this country for our holidays. Simple local food that tastes great. Good food and service for a great price.

A typical restaurant to eat authentic food. There is no menu, so you have to eat what the 85 years old grand mother who owns the place has for the day. That may be not for everyone, but you know you will eat good and fresh food. The staff was also very nice. We recommend :)

Ein wunderbares Restaurant

Wir waren nach dem Tagesausflug sehr früh eingekehrt, wurden aber sofort höflich empfangen und bekamen wunderbare Speisen serviert. Das Fleisch war super zart und der Pudding eine Krönung von Allem.

Besonders ist die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Inhaberin und ihrer Mama.

Wir können das Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der gutes Essen, dazu schmackhafte Weine und ein ansprechendes Ambiente sucht.

Wir kämen gerne wieder, reisen aber nun weiter.

Fomos por recomendação, e não desiludiu-me. Tinha lido alguns comentários negativos, mas acho que não são verdade. Cada día há um menu, por tanto não deu para escolher. As croquetas de inicio foram das melhores. A carne estava ótima, assim como os acompanhantes. Sobremesa também muito boa, e o vinho branco da casa também muito bom. Por tanto, grande experiência, para repetir.

Ambiente familiar com as melhores papas e vitela recomendo.

Já comi várias vezes em épocas diferentes (tanto no verão,inverno,primavera e Outono) ,adorei sempre bem recebida e a qualidade é de outro mundo. A cozinheira senhora de certa (podia ser minha bisavó) tem um dom que é qualquer coisa. Adoro ir lá e o preço não está muito mau ( são preços que já não se encontram.). Muito bom.
