A great restaurant for the lovers of cod! Caution with the size of the plate because on these parts of Portugal the quantities are very generous!!
The appetizers are also very good and for "desert" you can ask for the steak which is also great.
If you've never tasted it, or even if you have, just ask for the wine Verde Tinto from the house because it's from their vineyard and goes along perfectly with the food.
The people are very nice and the service is good.

What a wonderful meal! First traditional cod meal we've had in Portugal. Very welcoming people and great food.

as soon as we arrive a bottle of water was presented, that is one of the best thing to have in a hot day in Portugal. After that we started with cod dumplings which were so good that we had to ask for more! We ordered the grilled cod fish with potatoes and that also was delicious. Finished with a creme brûlée done superbly. The owner is so cute and friendly that you really feel at ease. The place is full of light and breathable. Recommended 100%

Really excellent food, best cod fish and coco pudding ever! Very lovely owner taking care of each guest and making sure the experience is really tasty and friendly. Not expensive. Very recommended to visit, especially now it's a great way to support local business with long tradition. A must go! 😊

Very very good 'bacalhau'. The owner, Mr. Victor, is humble, attentious and make you feel at easy. One of the best food, ambient and serving in Portugal. If you don´t like 'bacalhau' better call in advance and request "carneiro" that is also one of the best .
