O Cantinho da Susi serves authentic Portuguese cuisine with a contemporary twist. The service is always super friendly and professional and set in a very pleasant and cosy dining atmosphere.

Their take on the traditional Portuguese couvert is a great start to the evening. It combines a selection of fresh local bite size flavour surprises with freshly baked mini bread rolls.

The prawn starter is a must and probably the best we've had in the Algarve. Our Sirloin and Tuna steak main courses are always grilled to perfection (precisely medium rare) and beautifully presented. They also offer a variety of local and seasonal speciality dishes that you can select from a classic chalk board.

O Cantinho da Suzi is a family run restaurant that really showcases their passion for quality dining in an authentic,relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The fantastic vibe they have created always makes us feel right at home even though we are on vacation, so we can definitely recommend this restaurant ;-)

Had dinner here 3 nights in a row because I was so impressed. Delicious food and friendly service at very reasonable prices. Loved the Couvert starter dishes - can't believe it's only 3 euros. Steak was great (and big!), as was the lamb stew. There are many other menu dishes in addition to their standard menu (see menu photo). Will visit again if I'm ever in the area!

What an incredible dining experience. The food was so good we made a reservation for the next night right after eating the appetizer. Absolutely perfectly cooked Portuguese food. This is the place the locals bring their guests. You can feel the love and passion that goes into each dish. The octopus was fantastic. The sirloin and tuna steaks were both cooked perfectly. The figs with goat cheese and honey were divine. Suzi’s Dessert is a must after the meal.

I could go on and on. Bottom line, make a reservation and get to this place.

Absolutely marvellous meal for 4 of us with excellent well priced wine. Great friendly service. Highly recommended. Would have returned next day but they were closed as they were hosting a large private party.

The food was absolutely amazing, any explanation we needed was given and each and every item that we had you can taste the passion that the chef has put into it. Top service by everyone and knowing it was my wife's birthday they personally wished her a happy birthday and made a cake expecially for her.

There is no words to describe the culinary experience at O cantinho da Susi. Chef Susi is a wizard and her creations are magical. It's a truly family restaurant and absolutely everything we had was exquisite.

Excellent service: the waiter speaks fluent French, English and Spanish!
Very generous, various and tasty (free!) amuse-bouches.
The menu has many Portuguese special dishes.
Desserts are homemade and amazing.

We've just had the most perfect meal tonight
Service, food, drinks, atmosphere are all perfect

On arrival we were presented with padron peppers, bread and carrots mix while we reviewed the menu

The menu has great choices but also check the specials board

My partner had shrimp starter from the main menu while I had figs with goats cheese, walnuts & honey from the specials
Both were amazing

For mains my partner has lamb stew (which is enough for two) and I had Shrimp Xerem
Both from the main menu - again both meals were delicious

We shared dessert which was Susi's special
As the chef she has fantastic taste!
It was a fantastic end to the meal

The bill was very reasonable

Amazing dinner! One of the best I had during my 2 months in Portugal. It's a little family restaurant with daily specials that can be different every day. Our table ordered shrimps, octopus, beef and duck and every single meal was amazing. Also Susi and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. Price quality also very good!

Amazing dining experience. The hosts were so polite and attended to the table at all times. The food was simply perfect, I had the Tuna which was cooked to perfection.

Great food, cozy and simple place, impeccable service. There aren't many daily choices, but the daily dishes add variety to the menu and quality is high. The restaurant is open only for dinners and reservations are advisable!

We enjoyed our Dinner very much! Service was quick and friendly and took the time to answer questions about specific ingredients that we were interested about. Susi also prepared a vegetarian dish for me on short notice. Food was extraordinarily good (drinks too) and the prices are very fair for the quality you get. We will definitely come again the next time we are in the area!

Cosy restaurant in a cute village. Food delicious, well presented and for very correct price. Wine from Algarve excellent. Staff available and concerned about your well being all along the dinner. Awesome experience we will come back !

What a find! I have eaten dinner here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The service is great, the owners are friendly and the food is excellent. Reasonably priced for what you get. Traditional Português food with a modern touch. Its a little off the beaten track and hidden away, but well worth it, and there is parking nearby.

Quality of food was excellent. You would pay top euro for this kind of food in Dublin. Just a pity we only discovered it at the end of our trip here to the Algarve, but will definitely be back if we visit again. Our waiter was also very nice.

Delicious food and reasonable prices, highly recommend the fig apetiser!
