Pastelaria Fortaleza

My daily stop for a coffee and a pastel during my holiday. The waitress (Paula?) is so kind! Always makes time for a small chat. The view on the sea cannot be beaten as well.

Beautiful food and friendly staff in a perfect location. Highly recommend the "shrimp" salad (which as you can see from the pictures) is a lot more than my definition of a shrimp!

A great place to visit when in Armacao de Pera. Just sit down and let the world pass by.....

Perfect place for lunch or snacks, or a glass of wine while taking in the atmosphere and watching the surfers. Beautiful views and fabulous service

Had a very nice breakfast here. Good value. Great service. Sun was shining and the bacon was perfect.

Food quality is always amazing as is the selection of dishes on offer with daily specials to choose from also. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and the staff are very attentive, polite and efficient. Topped off with a fabulous view, no question 5 Stars all round.

We met family here one morning for brunch and it was a joy - we sat outside in the sun and sheltered from the wind. The food and coffee were just great. I shared a 'special' breakfast with an extra coffee and fresh orange juice ... bacon, eggs , toast, yoghurt and fruit and more - and it was plentiful! But the staff really make this place - they are delightful!!

The best coffee, pasteis de nata and sandwiches. Kind staff and nice sea view.

We had coffee and dessert, Banana caramel pie was superb.
Service was excellent, we had a lovely view of the beach.

This place occupies a great spot right on the corner overlooking the beach. Everything is reasonably priced, and the “Fortaleza” breakfast was very good indeed. Wide variety of drinks and speedy service make this a great place to sit, relax and stare at the sea. Plenty of outdoor or indoor seating.

Great food and amazing service. The waiters and the owner/manager is super friendly. Try the 10 year Porto wine and the banofi pie. Scenic view of the ocean from the tables outside.

Nice cafe with a good selection of coffees, teas, hot chocolates, iced teas, pasties, cakes and breakfasts. All in enjoyed on the seafront
