Pera Bistro Bar

The food was nothing short of absolutely incredible. We went to dine at around 8pm and everything we ordered came out quickly. It was so fresh and delicious and packed full of flavour. The goat cheese bruschetta were a must try and the seafood risotto was likely the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing food, value and atmosphere. Came here on a Friday evening to the sound of great live music. - Drove from Albufeira just for the food and could not recommended it anymore.

The service was top notch, and food simply incredible especially at the price. The family feel of the restaurant really added to the charm of the whole evening.

Me and my girlfriend shared 5 tapas plates which were all amazing and the cocktails were also very nice.

Would definitely come back when we return to Portugal.

Paulo and Alex who run this amazing restaurant are just brilliant the food was some of the best we had in Portugal and atmosphere is so fun, friendly, and relaxing place to to eat and perfect way to spend a lunch or evening. Alex wine knowledge is brilliant and Paulo cooking if phenomenal. There truly care and take time to talk to everyone who comes and makes sure you get whatever is right for you wether than be paring a nice wine with the food or picking you a nice cocktail. We couldn’t help but want to keep going back, You must visit this place at least once in during your stay at Armação de Pera! Thank so much!

Awesome tapas Bar/Restaurant you got several options for tapas or can choose between 4 different burgers for lunch, some are as well available as vegan dishes.
I ordered the falafel burger and was amazed how juicy and delicious it was! Definitely can recommend the Falafel burger, instead of meat.

This place has it all!!! Amazing food, music and really cool people coming there too. When the live muck is on the atmosphere is awesome. Quality bands and artists. And are stocked with a great choice of wines from local vineyards. I'm always back there for more to discover 😍

Amazing place run by such a lovely family! The food is delicious and the atmosphere created by the owners is wonderful! I recommend it with all my heart. If you are in the Algarve, you just have to visit this place. This is must see!

Great little bistro/cafe next to the market. Food was amazing, loved the goats cheese and caramelised onions. Live music on a Saturday, great lunch / afternoon, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend it. Lovely staff too 😀

The highlight of our trip. Fresh food, mouth-watering flavors, well-sized portions, and reasonable prices. The lime chorizo and garlic lemon squid for dinner were my favorites. The owners are incredibly charismatic and welcoming. We came for dinner, which was so enjoyable we came back the next day for breakfast and drinks that evening. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Live music, delicious tapas, great service. We came here for dinner with my parents, visiting from Canada. We ordered a variety of tapas, our favourites were the Alheira Sausage (Croquettes) and cod fish cakes. Best Cod fish cakes we've had in Portugal.
We will definitely come back... probably for breakfast tomorrow! I wish I took more photos of the food!

Small place next to the market place, but food was very good, all the tapas we tried were tasty. Milkshakes and smoothies were good as well!

The 10-euro lunch deal is amazing and includes a glass of wine. You can choose between a main dish or two different tapas - a fantastic lunch that will surprise your taste buds.

And let's not forget the cocktails! They are absolutely worth trying. It's not hard to understand why this restaurant has gathered so many loyal customers.

Pera Bistro Bar is an excellent choice for a relaxed meal or a drink in a cozy atmosphere. The apple pie with sorbet ice cream for dessert, all homemade by Paulo, is the perfect conclusion to a fantastic experience. Truly great value for your money!

Last night of a wonderful 7 days in The Algarve stumbled on place as we liked the sound of the live music....what a gem great staff great food great time. Thanks we be back on our next visit to Algarve. Finished our holiday with a great great evening.

Breakfast here was a very enjoyable experience.Cake was beyond praise. Milkshake and iced latte were amazing as well.The waitress was very friendly and gave some nice recommendations.The place definitely worth visiting and coming back.

Great spot! Delicious goat cheese toast tapas, falafel burger, and lovely homemade tiramisu. The employees are friendly and very helpful! They called a taxi so we could get back to our hotel

Absolutely incredible and worth visiting (not only once 🤩).

My fiancee said it's the best place to have prawns in Portugal. It's not common to find prawns properly clean, so you can just enjoy them without spending most of your time cleaning them yourself...

Tapas are exceptionally good! Service excellent. I highly recommend it.

The venue is amazing. The food is to a very high standard with attention to detail. Live music every Thursday is well worth a visit.

We were staying a month in Armação de Pêra and found this amazing place. Paulo and his wife Alex were the kindest people to us. The food here is amazing. The live music was so enjoyable to watch and listen to. The Pear martinis was amazing also. We absolutely loved this place and ate there numerous times over the month. Make reservations as it does fill up quickly.
