Still sitting at the table, having finished the 'costeleta'. Starting on the 'baba de camelo'. Both were/are excelent choices. Stopped here fortuitously while traveling in Geres. Beautiful location. Really pleasant patio at the back. Excelent service. Definitely will be coming back as I am staying in the area for a few days.

Simple food done well... great! This is a typical Portuguese restaurant with traditional dishes. I went in after several hours of hiking. Good to start with olives and cheese and a freshly made vegetable cream soup. It's no haute cuisine, but for a day like this the perfect meal. Service was really great, btw. I recommend!

A real mind bending taste extravaganza… it’s really a 4.5 star experience.

Picked up some sandwiches here for the road and they were muy averago. Soggy white rectangles served by a really sweet old lady. I thought I would never return… but through a unexplainable twist of fate… we ended up here for dinner as our first choice restaurant was closed! (Actually very explainable).

And my god it was a great accident. Don’t think I’ve ever ordered veal before but Shoaib told me to get it and I trusted him because he’s never wrong. Biggest veal juicy boy I’ve ever seen. Tender mind bender. Punched potatoes um ummmmm yes please.

Keep them Super Bock Stouts coming. Also, if you need a sweet treat, this place serves a chocolate bar called Kranch which is insanely good… I think it’s been enriched with something. Can’t find it anywhere else in Portugal over the course of 7 weeks. Someone please send me some.

We stayed for 3 nights in Gerês and had 4 meals in Turismo. Posta, Costeleta, Bacalhau and Cabrito, all amazing.
For the deserts, baba de camelo and mousse de chocolate were our favorite.
Definitely going to come back.

We stumbled upon this amazing little hidden gem. Amazing lunch of veal, enough for 4 people and cost 20 euros. Great for families and lovely team of women working there. Menus in English and great wine selection and garden outside. If you are in the area, you must visit!

Amazing food with good price / quality relation. They have a sunny patio at the back with some tables also in the shadow. Since the patio is at the back, it is quiet and fresh, surrounded by trees. I recommend posta de vitela and chocolate mousse. Amazing.

A small homey place, Great local food, We had the T-bone, fish and salmon, everything was delicious!

Nice food and good service.

Local stop for coffee, ice cream, light snacks, beer, or refreshments in the shade. Perfect after a day of hiking.

Literally saw a farmer and his farm dog pull up on their tractor, grab an espresso, and then go back to working their field.

A perfect place to have lunch on the way to the park! All food we tried was very delicious, especially grilled salmon! Coffee was very good as well. Totally recommended!

I really enjoyed the vino verde (green wine). It was so yummy and fresh. Couldn’t get enough! Don’t forget to try the snowman popsicle for dessert after all that wine!

I had lunch here on my way to the Seixos Brancos - Traditional Arts and Crafts. The menu had enough choice and was in English which did help. The food was delicious. The service was really excellent. Such a beautiful place. Obrigada

Very good and (even too much) cheap food. We went two nights in a row and the second night the owner basically re-opened the restaurant for us even though he was closing. I would definitely recommend this place!

We like good food, but don't mind if it's simple. Here, it was simply stunning. Maybe it was the heat of the day or the fact that we arrived here parched and hangry after a long day's walking. The geezers hanging out at the bar with their beers and the aproned old lady behind the counter didn't fill us with confidence. Then came the food: plates of zingy tomato salad, trays of bread and black olives, the tenderest of steak and the fluffiest potatoes glistening with olive oil. So good, I almost forgot to take a picture!

Great small restaurant with lots of local people coming here for lunch. Very tasty meals and super friendly staff and excellent value for money.
