Very professional and friendly service. Good dishes - vegetable soup, bread, codfish chops, apple pie. A quiet and well-developed restaurant.

We ordered posta de vitela and was really soft and delicious
Also tarte de masao was really tasty

A solid 5. A restaurant that has 2 daily dishes has to be a winning bet, and I can tell that these were the best pataniscas with arroz de feijão I had in my life. Take the opportunity to take a stroll around the village and say hello to the sheep.

Amazing steaks, incredible Portuguese food. With a great rustic feel. Nice view if you make it to one of the 2 seatings at the porch. Update: after 1 year it has become a staple in our visits to the north country side. Very consistent and always a great experience. Incredible friendly staff. (If you want to experience something different you need to place a reservation with 2 days in advance) I don't really mind because the 2 main dishes they always have are to die for.

Tasty food, very generous portions, best cod fish fritters in Portugal. They also have a great and affordable wine selection to accompany the meal. You have to pre order special dishes two days in advance if you want them. Do not miss if you are around, absolutely worth the small detour.

Very cozy and friendly restaurant, small. I advise to reserve ALWAYS!!!! THERE ARE ONLY 2 DISHES. all others must be ordered in advance, some you need to order 48 hours before. It's always full booked most of the time. Food is splendid, best food I eat for a long time even with such a short menu. It's one of those restaurants that you must go if your near or even a bit far.

We had an amazing dinner here, the food was not to be missed and the best way to end a day out enjoying Gerês! We loved everything about the meal, from the cheese, olives and bread to the Pataniscas de bacalhau and the veal, to the Quinta d’Amares wine to the lovely deserts. Make the trip!! If you’re out with Keen Tours (right next door) make some time to eat a great meal here before heading back to town.
