Wonderful place to stay.. at least 1 night but better 2 or more... Since the moment you arrive you feel the nature, the environment surrounds you and you want to stay more and more. You can take the lift to go to the city center with discount and you have the swimming pool if you prefer to have a rest... Mandatory point to stay if you are back to Portugal

It is a very beautiful place and a historical place, it is the first city of Portugal The King and Queen of Portugal belonged to this city

Lovely little site with very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for exploring Penha and a fabulous cable car trip straight into Guimarães which has a pretty old town to explore. Only negative is there are just 2 showers and toilets for each gender so you need to get up early 🤣

Wow such a beautiful place to be, you can have a nice weekend plan for picnics or a day trip. Shoes are recommended for trekking and a nice scenic spot for a lot of pictures. The is a beautiful church up there.

An extremely beautiful park well worth the trip out of the city. Take a ride on the cable car to get a great view and then hike through the winding paths and see the very weird church blasting upbeat hymns through loudspeakers interrupted only by the church bell breakdowns that seem to go on forever throughout the area .

Great experience in this camping. The staff are helpful and kind. Wi-Fi all over the camping with good reach. The bar is simple but awesome. The owner fried some cod pastels for us. Just ask. Busy on weekends but calm on working days. We went Guimarães by cablecar with camping discount. Beautiful surroundings. We stayed there for 4 days! Recommended.

Lovely campsite built into the mountain but with level plots. Plenty of shade available, very clean, spacious facilities (best shower ever on a campsite) and friendly, helpful staff. Pool a little cool as you might expect so refreshing on a warm day. Ideally placed to explore Penha mountain and the cable car provides easy access to Guimaraes.

Beautiful church with amazing park around. Unfortunately by the time we came it was so hot and unbearable so we did not get to spend enough time exploring. There is a lift to up and view is amazing from the top. I would recommend getting a blanket and packing a food to spend some time breathing in in a beatiful nature

Perfect spot to visit guimaraes. All camping services in place. Stunning view point few steps away. Cable car to downtown near camping. Swimming pool and a bar available.
Caravan spots are in a shadow which really helps during the heat.

Lots of stone tables for picnics and plenty of parking. Great views and walks around the area.

Uniquely positioned for the beautiful city of Guimaraes.Make sure you are well stocked as there are no local shops ,just a bar/ restaurant selling very basic provisions

Honestly the best to camp with your family! Guimaraes is only a teleferico ride away and everything on the campsite is amazing from the friendly staff to the great local food and awesome views from the top of the santuario!
