Lovely place to go for good food reasonably priced. Attentive service although maybe a bit of a wait during peak season.

The food was really good. Every year I come to Guia to eat grilled chicken, this year the restaurant I usually go to was closed, so I decided to try this one, since it was late for lunch, and it was a wonderful surprise. The chicken was wonderful, the staff was nice and the ambience was relaxed.

Went here after a recommendation from a tour guide, to try some authentic Portugese Cuisine. The place doesn't look much, but as it was full of local people we gave it a try. Service was good, food was great value. We even asked to try the snails, and got given a small plate for free to try.
Food was good, especially the crispy squid. If you want tonavoid the tourist places, eat here.

Called in for a drink whilst trying to find a local supermarket near our villa.

The last time I went it was a bad experience but I thought I'd give it another chance. There's new staff and the service and food was good.

Wow....how busy is this place these days? Pick your time wisely to be sure of a table....it's well worth a visit for both food and late drinks....

Went for lunch here because it looked quite busy. The food was really great, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Now we know why it is so popular.

Lovely staff, good food

A family friendly bar that serves good-sized plates of delicious food. No fuss, straighforward food, served promptly by enthusiastic and polite bar staff. The soup of the day (carrot and potatoe) was very good as was the dish of the day (grilled pork steaks with fries). A tomatoe and onion salad was a perfect side. The coffee was perfect too. I hope to return soon!

The food is excellent & very good value for money, great friendly staff who take great care in looking after the clientel. This is on the main street in Guia & is a cool spot for a local meeting point or to just watch the world go by AAAAA Highly recommend

Very good experience. Waiters very good which is something l have not alwsys said about this place. Nice when waiter not only remember you but also what you drink !

We have visited the Algarve many times over the last few years & generally stay around Guia as it is not over run with tourism. It is a lovely mainly local village with some Ex pats, one of the most popular meeting points is the Guia football club snack bar. It has a wide variety on the menu to suite all tastes, including the Proto do dia (menu of the day) some of which may not be to the tastes of some but are enthusiastically eaten by the locals ( men, women & children) The staff are outstanding the food is fabulous & the prices are very reasonable.
Well worth a visit if your ever near Guia on your travels.. AA

This is a basic Portuguese country bar. It is situated on the Alcantarila Gare road from Silves. The outside terrace has good views over the countryside. It is family run, very relaxed and friendly. It is possibly the cheapest bar in the Algarve. I go out of my way to drink here.
