Our favorite restaurant in Guia for piri piri chicken. Have eaten here for years chicken,salad,french fries and beer sometimes wine, is what we always order. Of course dessert. Fast service. Many tables and plenty of staff. Very busy in the summer.

Love this place. Always make multiple visits when in the algarve. Best piri piri chicken I’ve had.

Perfect frango. Juicy, succulent, and lightly spiced. Chips were great too - no sauce needed since we had the chicken juices.

All the waiters served us with big smiles, and the dessert at the end was the cherry on top.

Expect to wait a while if you don't get there as soon as they open.

For New Years eve we got Chicken Piri Piri (take away). It was tasty and delicious. The chicken was still warm and the fries crisp after 20 minutes to get back to the apartment

One of the best meals of my life. You get the option for spicy or not spicy. Incredible!!

The chicken, the French fries and the tomato salad were AMAZING! As for the dessert, not so much unfortunately.

Great place to stopover when going to algarve. Tender grilled chicken with fresh fries is a must here. Always ask for spicy version. Do come early as this place gets very busy. No reservations at all. Parking available behind

This is a mandatory stop if you're nearby or even a little bit far. This small chicken traditional to Guia is cooked to perfection with low waiting times. That is, if you arrive before this opens, as it's the most famous Guia Chicken restaurant it fills up in an instant.

After you enter, there are plenty of tables and waiters who will take your order in an instant and your food will arrive shortly.

Price is affordable considering the taste of the chicken and fries. (They also have other, while very limited, options).

Delicious peri peri - worth the drive away from the beach - recommend going for lunch! There was no wait when we arrived at 12:30. No menu - they’ll just bring you chicken, fries, and tomato salad.

This isn’t a place for a fancy experience. It’s a quick, canteen style operation that turns out platter after platter of Guia piri piri chicken. It’s hugely popular with locals and tourists, and you may have to wait at peak times. If going there by car, there is a large car park to the rear.

Unless you ask for a menu, the waiters will assume you’re there for the piri piri. They quickly key it into their little hand held devices as they’re talking and off they go for the next table. The typical order is chicken, tomato & onion salad, and fries, and it’s a fantastic simple combination. The chicken is grilled, chopped on the bone and dressed with a salty, slightly vinegary sauce. It’s not a huge portion, and I have found myself ordering a second platter on very hungry days. But with the sides, there is plenty.

This is THE place to go for piri piri chicken! I got 1.5 chicken. It comes with fries. The local cheese was also great, you have the option to put salt and pepper on it if you like.

The staff is very helpful. During their lunch service I counted at least 6-8 staff that were available to help.

Dessert, Dom Rodrigo was also delicious.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant away from the more brazen tourist traps in the area. The food is authentic, cheap and delicious. The staff are charming and helpful even if you speak little to no Portuguese you'll be fine. The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere almost like a community centre, there is so much going on. Order the chicken, chips, tomato salad and a couple of beers and you're sorted. If you've got room afterwards the desserts are also excellent.

Best BBQ chicken with fries ! Ive been coming here for 20years and possibly eat here 3 to 4 times while on vacation.

Summer peak months expect 45 min for a table or 15 min for take out which is my preferred when I arrive late.

House wine is good and not worth spending more money in bottled labeled wine

Very nice chicken! We had to queue for an hour and service was slow as it's very busy but it's still worth it. We even went back on a different day.

One of the best baby chicken you will find. Quite reasonable price, efficient service, authentic and good ambiance. Also order the tasty tomato salad and as dessert the egg white cake if you have the stomach for it

Probably the best grill chickens in the area. You certainly should order their salad as eating chicken alone is too oily. Grilled chicken + tomato salads + coke = 🥳

These people have unique way to make the chicken. You must try it with the piri piri sauce and also get an almond tart or tartaleta. Delicious!!!

We visit here several times every trip to the Algarve, the food is exceptional, very simple but delicious. Even as a veggie I will happily go for the tomato and onion salad and chips alone (they do also do an omelette) the restaurant itself is relaxed, no booking necessary!
