Wine Bar - Quevedo Lodge

We went here for a port wine tasting booked online. We got an introduction to the history, significance and process of port wine in Porto. Ricardo prepared our three ports and cheese pairings and talked us through the flavour profiles and what to expect from each port in a fun and entertaining way. We had lots of opportunity to ask questions and gained insight into how to pick the right port for you. We loved the ports and could not have asked for a better guide! Thanks Ricardo!

Staff was friendly, very knowledgeable and passionate about the place. It’s a small family business, a little hidden, by far my favorite wine tasting in the Port area!
I ordered also the ibérico ham, which was fantastic!

My partner and I decided to come here because we don’t think a cellar tour worth our time here. The atmosphere here is very cozy, and everyone who works here have very fluent English speaking to introduce us each wine with great recommendations. The fish can with cookie is also a perfect side dish with port, and we really enjoy our time here. Just to be aware that it was a little confusing for me if I should call to reserve my spot, but it seems like that’s mostly for the busy season (summer). November seems a little slow here, so walk in is definitely doable. Oh! And our favorite is 20 year Tawny.

Great port pairing with chocolate or cheese. A nice variety of house ports, white, rose, ruby or tawny. Aged or young, Late Bottled Vintage (LBV). Tasty snacks such as house organic olive oil, or sardines.
Very friendly staff. Definitely recommended!

Wow, what an experience. Ingunag helped us through the plethora of wonderful ports to taste. Her knowledge and experience was incredible, as was her English (for the native English speakers).

I couldn't recommend this place enough and will absolutely be flying the 25 hours to come back in the future.

The chorizo was magnificent and cooked at the table, and the port selections were vast.

The nicest Port wine bar with tasting we discovered in Porto! It’s much cozier and warmer atmosphere than elsewhere, prices are great, you have more options to choose the Port tasting and the food they have is amazing (especially the cheese board and the roasted chorizo)

An absolutely amazing port wine tasting that was accompanied by delicious cheeses. The service was really professional, very pleasant and attentive. The whole experience was enhanced by the perfect atmosphere and live music. In one word - great. Definitely recommend.

We had a reservation for wine tasting on a Sunday evening, and I can say that everything was perfect! The communication for the booking was really easy, although we were a bit late we had a warm welcome. The service was excellent, our host explained everything, but also let us taste the wines without trying to influence and let us have our own experience. We also ordered a cheese plate what fitted perfectly for the wines. Overall we highly recommend this place, thank you for having us! :)

Great place to sample all kinds of Port wine, from younger and fresher ones to older and more robust. Our server Sofia was extremely knowledgeable and made our experience even better. I thoroughly recommend the cheese pairing and, if you like white Ports, go for a glass of the 30 year old, which is truly remarkable.

We went to several port wineries whilst in Porto but none gave us such an amazing experience as Quevedo! First of all, it was the staff! They were super welcoming and kind. In addition, they took a lot of time to explain everything we wanted to know about port and all of our questions 😄 - which we had plenty. Additionally, the ports and the olive oil were amazing!
It’s very nice to visit a port winery which is family-owned and not that large. It gives you a very unique experience. Can recommend this to everyone!

It was such a wonderful experience. We were just passing by and one of the customers called us in. It was in a hidden area. The wine tasting was my favourite part. I have chosen Ruby wine for my life. The server ‘ I forgot her name’ was incredibly helpful. She explained about each and every wines, about the business and recommended wines for us. It was a beautiful memory to treasure. The interior was interesting. The tuna and sardine toastier were good too

Great place to try some port. It's a bit out of the way, so you won't have to fight the crowds, the atmosphere is peaceful and the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. I had the basic port tasting for 10€ and came back the next day to try some more mature vintage ports. Definitely don't miss a chance to sample some vintage port from the 90-ies for less than 10 euros.

We walked past and went inside because it looked nice and I'm so glad we did! The staff was all really friendly and passionate about the ports and the company. Inguna helped us, she knew a lot and was amazing. Next to the vibe and the staff, the ports were great! Especially the 30+ years white, loved it. For Dutch people; we found out you got a Porthouse in Zwolle where you could buy these as well

We had a great experience with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. There were a wide variety of delicious ports for not that much money. We hope to return some day!

We had two port tasting in Porto and they were both phenomenal. This one had a large selection of great ports that covered almost anything you could want. This place in particular had a super knowledgeable and friendly staff. We ended up having a tone of all different types of port to try them all and pretty much all of them were great! A good mix of sweat and savory spice without being to overpowering. It is a huge venue that could hold a tone of people so large groups are no problem. I would definitely recommend this place for port tasting.

Had an amazing experience tasting different types of port (white, rose and two rubys). The service was amazing and we learnt so much about port. Would also recommend getting the Iberian ham as this was delicious!

Went here with my friends and had a fantastic time! Great vibes and view, lovely workers (our fave was Asya! 😆) and amazing spread with an assortment of wines. A bit off the beaten path away from the boardwalk, which is exactly what we were looking for! The jam, cheese and toast spread is amazing and the chocolate is delectable ^_^

Amazing, cozy and family owned port house. The staff is super friendly and give you information about the port wies and how they are Producer- a short guided tour through port wine, in case you did not go to the big port cellars. We loved this place a lot. The cheese platter is a proper portion, the chocolate-port pairing was delicious and this is one of the few places that has aged white port, one of my favourites!
