Casa Da Viuva - Wine Bar

A very beautiful place with a great atmosphere. The terrace is lovely especially in the evening with all the lights.
The wines are great and the selection is very good. We had a great selection of tapas and some desert. Definitely recommend when you are in the area. Also the village is worth a visit.

Incredibly cozy spot with wonderful feel-good cuisine and a wide selection of tasty drinkables. Shout out to Bruno, Antonio, and Delfin (sorry, I know I messed up your name!). They made us feel at home and served us outstandingly.

What an amazing experience. Bruno looked after us superbly with impeccable and timely service and wine recommendations. The chef did an amazing job with the quality and presentation of our meals. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. We went with the suggestions given and it was fantastic, the wine was beautiful and the food filling and tasty. Services was impeccable and overall a great experience will definitely come back. If you find yourself anywhere near the area do drop in as it is worth it.

What a find! This place has super tasty local dishes served by people that are very knowledgeable (esp about the wine), super helpful and can't do enough to make your evening. Its a very laid back place, perfect to relax and enjoy a night sat either inside or outside of the beautiful wine bar. The price was very very reasonable and when the bill came it was less that we d anticipated. One of the nicest places we ve visited recently!

An hidden surprise. A place were Portuguese country life is still preserved and food got a touch of contemporary without changing much the traditional recipes. Fair prices. Friendly and efficient staff.

In a small town in the north of the country, Lagares, this restaurant is a perfect cosy and charming place to have a great meal and enjoy good wine. We had different “petiscos” and all of them were amazing. Combining with such nice staff and great wine, also great and unique atmosphere, this is a must go.

The restaurant closes earlier (at least on Sunday) - 10pm and the kitchen closes at 8.30pm. Reservation recommended.

Delicious Tapas and Wine in a beautiful residence.

I recently visited Casa da Viuva and had a wonderful experience. The tapas were especially delicious and the spot was cozy and inviting. The service was attentive and the wine selection was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good momment.

Top shelf food in a unique Village. The atmosphere must be experienced. We will return to this place.
