Sr. Manuel - Seafood Bar

Really enjoyed my experience at Sr. Manuel’s this evening. Great spot to enjoy my first steak and glass of red in Portugal. Great atmosphere sitting out on the patio, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Dinner was delicious, by the way. The steak was very nicely done, the sauce was amazing, the fries very tasty and the wine was excellent. Thank you Sr. Manuel’s!

For an authentic local meal that is world class, we found Sr. Manuel - Seafood Bar to be the perfect place. The terrace is a fun spot to experience the ambiance of Cascais in the evening. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful with suggestions. Our dinner was well paced as we had cocktails and appetizers and then wine and a main course.

Extremely nice and good service. Food was delicious and very fresh (we had tiger shrimps and a beautiful lobster avocado bread). Definitely recommend! PS: take the passion fruit Sangria, it’s great!

Wow! Amazing food. The best seafood I’ve had honestly. The owner and staff who greeted me was so nice and welcoming and accommodating. (made reservation at 7:30pm but I came way earlier at 7:00pm and he was really nice about it). He suggested some really good choices. Must have, Seafood Soup & Lobster Roll it’s like heaven. The scallops and mushrooms was amazing as well. If you ever come to Portugal make your way to Cascais and go to Sr. Manuel seafood bar, well worth the travel. Thanks for everything.

I have never ever eaten before shrimp because I don’t like seafood so much. But it was so delicious! The table setting was impeccable and staff is kind and helpful. That was a very good experience in a very unique town. Now, I think so I am familiar with shrimp. Muito obrigada

First lunch on day one in Cascais and could not have found a better spot. Waitress was so informative with the local wines plus the food was first class. A little away from the main areas but so worth the effort. The tuna tartare was the best I’ve ever tasted. Fabulous spot.

Great food and service. I would have loved to have more vegetarian options (maybe 3 things) to choose from. But most people going there will eat the sea food, which was also delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!

A hidden culinary gem in Cascais’ “Yellow Street.” The story behind the Sr. Manuel himself and his wife vis-a-vis this restaurant is one for the ages. Be sure to ask your server or staff about this narrative.

The green butter that comes with (paid) bread service is uhhh-maay-ziing in its simplicity and perfect in its execution! The Foz oysters I had were clearly fresh and the tomato-based shrimp was on the salty side — which paired with the oysters well. A glass of rosé to chase down that seafood goodness!

Service was well above average with plates being served and retrieved at the right times and servers always catching your gaze in case you wanted something else. Highly recommended and will surely return when I visit again!

Fantastic place. Reasonable price. Freshest fish and amazing menu. Staff were great. Spoke wonderful English and all in all 10 out of 10 meal.

Down to earth but really good food. We tried oysters, scallops and the sirloin steak. Everything was super tasty, the steak was great not only for a sea food place. The margarita was also very decent. Thanks for a nice evening!

Really good and delicious food! We especially loved the satured shrimp with garlic😍 their drinks were so good, we went for their own and we can highly recommend.
