Intermarché

My usual supermarket, has good produce and reasonable prices, with some good promotions at times. Recommend looking into improving their bread selection.

We are here on holiday staying at a friend's home for 3 weeks. We love to cook so shopping was necessary. We shopped their regularly during our stay and the staff there were great!! The food selection from meats, breads, fish and vegetables was excellent. I can see why they were so busy and crowded when we shopped!

This supermarket was a lifesaver. I needed to vacuum and clean my car for selling, plus I needed distilled water to clean the engine bay and it has everything. Also has a great selection of foods, cleaning products and a bunch of other misc items that you'll probably need at some point.

I always get good service here at Intermarche, the products i need & at reasonable prices. I like the Porsi brands on everyday items 👍 their soja chocolate milk is the best

Cheap gasoline but no issues so far - despite what some critics may say I think its definitely worth it.

Good, clean and well stocked supermarket with good parking and a nice cafe. Also a DIY, bedding and car accessories shop next door.

Large French super market, part of chain in northern Portugal, spacious, broad and deep assortment, higher end quality.
This supermarket far exceeds the quality, breadth and depth of the assortment of the other nearby Portuguese and Spanish supermarkets. It is a French chain with many higher quality French products, which are far better than locally sourced ones. Most of my neighbors from Spain come here as well instead of buying in their own lesser stores. The assortment includes non-foods and is well thought out, quite complete, so one can find a lot one needs on a daily basis that cannot be found elsewhere. Shelves are well stocked, so no visible gaps or 'out of stocks. There is ample parking space and it is located on the coastal highway N13 and has a large affordable gas station. The distance to the Caminha-A Guarda ferry is about 10 km Prices are of course a bit higher than normal, but who cares when one gets better. They have a wall full of numerous different types of real fruit juices, another wall full of different cookies and quite some with butter inside, 'zilliions' of different affordable wines (about two full paths.. greatest choice of milk products and a very large and varied pet food section (just bear in mind that some of the pet products are rebranded ones sourced in Spain but certainly not most).

The tuna with dried tomato was amazing.

Also the Pastel de Nata at 0,17 cent/unit.

Good variety of everything edible ... amazing selection of meats and fresh fish ... Same for vegetables and fruits.. oh, wines too ...

There are many branches of Intermatche in Portugal and they are similar to Sainsbury's and Asda in the UK some of the older branches need to be improved but the latest branches are very good.

Very nice people and good variety on vegetables, fish, meat etc etc... good shopingplace!
