This resort is the definition of relaxation, family fun, delicious food, and peace of mind.
The accommodations, whether apartments or hotel rooms, are spotless. The staff is truly kind and caring, from the Front Desk and Housekeeping to Food and Beverage and Recreation.
The food is delicious, usually being served buffet style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but they have a la carte menus, too. Our favorite dishes were the scrambled eggs, pão de ló, chia pudding, smoked salmon with mango, the freshest of fruits, bacalhau, and every single soup.
The pools are amazing, divided into two sections, one outdoors and one indoors, heated. There are children's pools for different ages and a huge splash zone. Be advised that swim caps are mandatory for the indoor pool.
The equipment inside the gym is great, and at any time, you can use the steam room at the spa or buy a massage package for additional relaxation.
Additionally, the property is huge, and you can walk around through the buildings, visit the children's playground, play in the pool green areas, and take amazing pictures of the Mondego river.
It also features a marina with a water sports company that offers boat rides, jet skis, etc.
Even though it's a bit of a drive, it is so worth it.

Best hotel! Near grate lake and have cool pool very magniv rooms and have good kitchen I made good food for the family with the kitchen and garage for evy room.

Went for a kayak training camp, best vacation of my life. Such a beautiful place. Food is mid though

The apartments are big and comfortable with air conditioning and central heating system. You can use the kitchen or just go to the restaurant inside the resort. Private garage with possibility to charge your EV (with your own home charger) is a plus.
Very nice to go with the kids. Nice pool and plenty of water (and other) activities.

Great family place. Not too many if these resorts in portugal. Great way to spend a few days if your looking to laze and enjoy water sports.
The service mostly great, some lapses. Staff were mostly friendly. We just experienced one rude person who seemed to be teaching other staff. Not something she should be doing. Infact the intern seemed much more hospitable.
Anyhow we can't expect north American level service everywhere, but this came close. I would recommend and will go back again.
If you know muskoka...then thats the kind of place this is.
It was nice to call this home-base and do day trips to the estrela mountains from here as well.

This year was my second consecutive year. Next year I will return with the family. Also very nice to perform remote work. The apartment internet works fine with the VPN and meetings

Great family resort and spa, fun for the kids and a great indoor pool. I don't do artic water temperatures and that wasn't an issue with the indoor pool although the outdoor pools where a little to cool form liking, Great views across the reservoir.

Great place for families, beautiful scenery, several things to do. If you just want to relax and keep your kids entertained with the available activities, you can. Staff extremely friendly and efficient.

High quality apartmans, with super cool slippers , great breakfast, argueable lunch and dinner, but the best desserts I've ever eaten. In a wonderful area.

Very family friendly place. Pretty much everything here revolves around playing with water in the pool and around it and the kids love it.
