Since a very young age I come here, and I do not regret... They still have the same employers and the same good but really good bifana no Pão (beef in the bread). If you pass in this small city Please check this place and you will not regret!!! Does not look for tourist but you will be welcome.
Prices are cheap for the meal in cause.
If I could eat one of this every day for life, I would!!!

Small low key place with amazingly tasty bifanas (pork meat sandwiches). Worth making a detour on your trip for that.

My favourite place to have the famous "Bifanas de Vendas Novas". A pork sandwich in a toaster bread. Lot's of restaurants serve this specialty but this one's are exquisite. Give it a try !!!!

I finally found the absolute best Bifanas from the typical "Bifanas de Vendas Novas" (from Vendas Novas). Clearly this is the place to go to get the most original Bifanas ever! Expect moderate wait at the door (specially because of covid). It will look like a local snack bar but the Bifanas is all the it matters in this place. Of course the staff was very friendly but expect them to be "in a hurry" since the flow of work is very high. Parking might be a challenge but it is worth it. Recommended with my rubber stamp!

A place to stop when passing by.. There is always room for a 'bifana' (pork loin marinated in garlic and wine). There are lots of places nowadays but this is one of the best places to try the originals... Awesome flavors! The service is fast and the staff is nice.
