Eating here has a feel and ambience of being in Italy. The decor is old world, charm and cozy. If you can sit by the window to look at the beautiful cathedral. The food here is authentic and tasty from the pasta to the pizza. Everything we tried that night was delicious. Spoke to the owner, she was very friendly and personable. The service is quick. This is a must stop done experience while in Coimbra.

I have tried plenty of dishes and they are all amazing! My favourite is the pasta with pesto and burrata.

As for the cannoli, they are as good as the ones I had in Sicily.

If you are around, definitely give this cozy place a try, you will not regret it!

Very nice location right at the old cathedral and within a few minute walk from our place. The owner is super nice and friendly. The service is good enough (some few minors here and there. I’m being super critical here). Food is good, just like in Italy. However, portion is on the smaller side and it’s a little pricey compared other places in town

What an incredible find! Very cozy, so I would strongly suggest calling to make a reservation. From the time we arrived to our last bite, the service was the best. We shared an appetizer and split the bolognese and tiramisu. The portions are just right, leaving you satisfied but not over full. I wouldn't leave without the tiramisu. We'll be back.

Came back second night in a row. Amazing Italian food! The menu does not have a lot of items on it, but what they do have is exceptional. Better then what we've had in Italy. Spaghetti carbonada is some of the best we've ever had. The tiramisu is also amazing. Make a reservation so you won't be disappointed.

I was here with 3 other Italian girls because we felt homesick. Here at Italianino we returned home. Of course we got pizza! Friendly and kind staff and owner that makes you feel at home (The owner is from my region XD) . Warm and welcoming place but a bit small. I recommend booking! Definitely approved and I will take other friends to try the real Italian cuisine!

So good! We got there right when it opened so we could get a table. Our food took a little bit to come out since everything is freshly prepared. But it was so worth it, food was amazing!

The best Italian we’ve had in Portugal!!! Amazing pizzas and pasta - we loved the lobster pasta (special of the day), carbonara and diavola pizza. Also definitely get the Aperol Spritz. Came here for dinner 2 days in a row! Shoutout to the lover servers 😊

INCREDIBLE. We found this place today and am so glad we did. We have a group of 10 and for this smaller establishment, they did a wonderful job accommodating us. The time we waited for food was so worth it. Every dish was delicious from the polenta, pizza, bolognese, tiramisu and cannoli. Eat here. You will not be disappointed!

Honestly some of the best Italian food in town!! Went here twice in two days and each time the staff were super warm and kind. Food here is made with passion, and the drinks were generous and tasty! Great food in a cost space, don't miss out on it (;

The hike up to the restaurant is totally worth enjoying a little bit of Italy in Coimbra. We had the housemade gnocchi, one with pesto topped with burrata and one with bolognese...excellent...pillowy tender gnocchi and flavorful sauces. There's a selection of pastas and sauces, pizza and calzone, antipasti and desserts that looked equally delicious. Portuguese wife and Italian husband owners attend you happily and serve lovely wines with the food as well. Make your reservation now for one of their 2 outside or 5-6 inside tables!

Food was very good, fresh & delicious. This place knows proper Italian food, although I'm not Italian so I'm not allowed to say, but still! Good English and nice explanation for every dish. Only portugal debit card accepted, so for foreigners: take cash

Everything was fantastic. Delicious pesto. Great service. Seating at 7:30pm and 9pm. Get a reservation.
