Extremely knowledgeable owner Paulo made us some wine tasting with a 1 hour excellent talk and tasting of 7 ports.

I’ve over estimated this place every single time I crossed this place as a Portuguese expat who studied in Coimbra. I came here with my family and we were treated not only warmly and fairly. No gentrification here whatsoever, which makes this place such a gem in this old street. They have a gallery upstarts and have won the prize for the best winery place in the world. Yes you heard it.
Fair prices and they will help you don’t a good priced gift too.

The owner is very friendly and kind, a full of knowledge about Porto. We came vary late but he took the time to gave us a couple of Portos Tawny to taste and decide which one to drink. Music and space with "bottles library" with great taste of Porto made us the unfogettable evening spent in Portugal.

Such a lovely wine bar! We came JUST for a glass of wine, ended up having 3 and 2 bottles to go! The guy working there is just amazing, he knows everything about Portugal wines, so you ask anything! Obrigada ❤

What a fantastic place, and even greater reception. You can taste wines suited to your taste and if you don't know your wines, the owner knows them for you. At the same time do not miss and interact with the owner. That will make your experience so much better.

Visit this place, you will not regret! Paulo is a magnificent host and a wealth of knowledge, about Portugese wine & Portugese history in general. the store has an excellent selection of wines for sale by the glass or bottle. Wine & ports tasting on demand. While there, do not forget to visit the Gallery on the second and third floor, you also get a change to see an old house from the inside.

The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to show us a map of the different wine regions of Portugal and describe the taste profiles of each. Great selection as well!

Amazing and unique place. Good wine, Great atmosphere and lovely owners, That will be happy to share their stories with you. Highly recommended. There's also another floor that hosts temporary exhibitions.

We stumbled on this gorgeous place in the back streets quite by accident. Sat down for a quick glass of Portuguese dry white, ended up with the whole bottle outside on a balmy September evening with a playlist to match. We left with a 10 y/o white port and some sardines and cod in spices and olive oil. Such a gem of a place just off the tourist highway. BTW, also a wonderful rustic art space upstairs. Way over my head… Thanks Paulo!

Wonderful place to sip a glass of wine, and/or buy a few bottles. Lovely hosts who provide excellent recommendations based on your particular likes.

The owner is super sweet.
If you pay for the wine / Porto tasting, you're not only paying for the tasting, it comes with great historical background on the production of wine / Porto and presentation of the various products.

This place is a MUST to visit when in Coimbra! I met the nicest people when stumbling upon this beautiful shop. They let me taste different Port wines and we talked extensively about the importance of good products. After some personal advice about the wines that would fit the best, they invited me to visit the art gallery upstairs. What more could you want from a place like this? I do not even have to wait until next time because they also export their carefully picked out wines!

Great experience with my girlfriend earlier today. Paulo and his wife was super helpful setting up the appointment. Paulo has an incredible amount of knowledge about Portwine and history in general. Incredible good value for money. Highly recommend.
