Terra Mar

I was planning on having a relaxing lunch by the beach. Unfortunately, most beachside restaurants close for business during winter months. I was en route back to Lisboa and came across this amazing restaurant by chance. The food here is very tasty with the right amount of saltiness to my palate. My server is attentive and friendly. Beautiful view of the valley and ocean. Would definitely come back again.

My favorite restaurant, the seafood and experience was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic fish & seafood restaurant. This place was recommended by our host and it did not disappoint. The waiter was very attentive and took the time to explain the menu and provide recommendations. We ordered both the soup and the seafood rice and both were absolutely fantastic (and this is coming from someone who's usually not a seafood fan). Make sure to ask for the home-made spicy oil. It transforms the dish into something even more outstanding. The prices are average but the portions are generous and rich in ingredients so the value is excellent. Desert was also very good. Highly recommended.

If you want the best seafood rice stew then come to Terra Mar! The serving size is BIG and the quality and flavor is amazing. If you get a chance sit at a table by the window for beautiful views of the ocean and valley below. The service is friendly and fast. A must stop for seafood lovers visiting free area.

Slightly more upmarket than your average taverna and traditional restaurant.The dishes are well presented without compromising on quality and the seafood is as fresh as you can get. The seafood platters are recommended. Ensure you try the deserts which are also typical and round off a great meal.

Let's start off with the reason everyone goes there! The FOOD is amazing, I have been going there for years, and the food has always been good, however I did notice a slight drop in quality, I think it is due to the fact that because they don't want to increase prices higher they have opted to reduce portions ever so slightly. About the service they are always so friendly and adaptable, but it did seem like they were working with a skeleton crew with a full restaurant. As for the atmosphere try to reserve a table by the windows during sunsets!

Fantastic Seafood. Every bite hits you with flavour. The service is very competent and they always suggest the best dish of the day.

Good size and great taste. Would recommend the "L Mariscada" for 3 or 4 people depending on if you are planning to have entries or not.

Fantastic food and wonderful service...

Terra Mar was my first place to eat in Portugal and it did not disappoint! The food was superb and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. I was embarrassed to not know Portuguese, but the staff helped me out. I highly recommend!

Really great restaurant. The seafood is of amazing quality and very friendly staff. They don’t speak much English but we got by with a bit of a mix with Spanish and English and it all added to the experience. Highly recommended
