The wine tasting was great! We got to know some history and facts. We spent some time trying the drinks and in fact even heard one more story from the table nearby where the guy also told more facts and some different info. The staff speak several languages for sure! It’s rather interesting and a must to try in Porto. You can choose different options for Porto tasting and even some snacks to go with it.

I did not eat, so I can only comment on the Port Wine and the atmosphere. This place was recommended by my tour guide and I had a great time, even by myself. The rooftop terrace had a DJ that was playing chill house music which set good vibes for the sunset view. I got a glass of the house Port Wine and it was good.

Along side the river you have several occasions to taste some port. This one has a great view and a nice lounge terrace. You can taste the different ports, enjoy a variety of cocktails with port. We went for the tawny version. And had a port and a cocktail and enjoyed the music and the views.

Great prices and recommendations for wine tasting. We did a tasting in December and did not need to book any reservations. However, during the busier times, I recommend that you do. Prices were good, pretty standard tasting inside.

There are different options for wine tasting, we went for the classic one with 4 glasses of Porto with a corresponding chocolate for each. The quality of the wine and the chocolate was superbe. The service was professional and friendly. Worth to mention the prices, absolutely fair

Amazing rooftop bar in Porto with fantastic 360 degree views, the best service we have experienced in Porto, great bar food and atmosphere/music!!!

The waiters are incredibly attentive and not pretentious given the setting. Music on point and both drinks and food well priced and of excellent quality. The panoramic views of Porto, the Douro river and the bridge cannot be beaten. Fantastic find!!!! And so so relaxed!!!!

Fantastic rooftop bar where you can enjoy your aperitif with an amazing view of Porto

Our discovery of Espaço Porto Cruz was a fortunate accident, prompted by our desire to escape the bustling, touristy street. We inadvertently ended up on the rooftop, a separate bar, but it was the fourth floor that truly impressed us—an exquisitely decorated and well-managed restaurant.

To be honest, I expected our bill for our party of three to be much higher. The food was not only delicious but also presented with impeccable service. A pleasant surprise awaited us at the beginning of the meal when each of us received a complimentary glass of 10-year-aged port.

Our waiter, whose name escapes me, was outstanding. He indulged my attempts at practicing Portuguese, patiently answering questions and engaging with my linguistic endeavors. Every dish we ordered was a delight, and the desserts were equally delectable.

What stood out most was the serene ambiance of this restaurant compared to the bustling tourist street it's situated on. I wholeheartedly recommend Espaço Porto Cruz for a delightful dining experience in Porto.

Stunning port and chocolate tasting, staff were attentive and answered any questions we had. Port tasting was very generous and very good value, will come again.

Great selection of port wine! Amazing 360 views of the city and the service is very friendly. Chris gave us a great introduction to port wine and made great recommendations.

Enjoy the river view at the rooftop. Queue is long but it took us around 20 mins. Music is quite loud but it is a bar so not their false. They control the queue so it is not too crowded when you get there. Most of the spot for your photo with the bridge are taken if you get there almost sunset time.

The experience was absolutely amazing! Me and friend each got the €15 package and it didn’t disappoint, it came with 4 different glasses of wine and 4 chocolates that much each wine. We had an intern who described the wine’s flavours, process and how the chocolate matched with that wine. If in Porto I highly recommend coming here.

Top location in Gaia directly at the Duoro River. We had the best port wine tasting of the whole vacation. Taste top and also the chocolates served were first class. Equally great is the rooftop bar with great views of the Duoro, beautiful sundowner spot, great DJ and good drinks. We also had a private dinner, the food was very tasty and the service was top. The room with private balcony was very nicely decorated, also here the sunset was great to watch. Conclusion: A clear visit recommendation!

Found this rooftop bar by coincidence and expected it to be too fancy and crowded, however we were pleasantly surprised that it was a pretty relaxed vibe and we managed to find a seat.
They have a lot of drinks on offer - a good selection of cocktails too and the view is amazing - you probably can’t find a better rooftop on this side of Porto.
The prices were reasonably and the staff was friendly.

They found a great table for two even though we did not book for lunch. Views are great over the street and down to the bridge. The restaurant is on 3rd floor so you dont see it from the street so it is a little less busy unless you know it's there. Good service and attention to details. Menu was reasonable and had a good selection, wine waiter was knowledgable and had several good suggestions to pair with our food. I thought my veal was done just right and cooked to perfection. The octopus, though not described as such on the English menu, was battered. The batter must not have been hot enough as it was soggy and white inside and the octopus a touch underdone and soggy. The complaint fell on deaf ears. That aside, I would recommend it and come again. Upstairs the bar is fabulous and well worth a visit for the views.

Great place to have a different view of the city. I tried it by night and got an amazing view of the Luiz 1 bridge and the Douro.
It is the perfect place for a cocktail made of Porto Cruz (alcohol free available) while enjoying nice music.

Great experience with port wine tasting and espcially with guidance of Rafael, the guy from the counter. His expertise lead us in right direction. Ask for him and tip him well.

This was the best roof top bar scene to the most breathtaking views of the river front and the old Town of Porto on the other side of the Duoro. Drinks were great too, recommend trying a Porto Tonic to complete the experience.
