Possibly one of the best food I have had in a long long time!
The Chanfana is out of this world, the meat and everything was “de comer e chorar por mais” - to die for!

A little village in the middle of nature (check the last photo).

The price is per head, so be ready to have more food than one normally has.

The house wine was ok, not spectacular. For a future visit I will order a “better” bottle of wine. I believe this food, this meat deserves nothing less than the best possible wine to accompany it.

Strongly recommend it. Takes about 1 hour drive from Porto or Braga but it’s TOTALLY worth it!

Save this spot and make sure you go at least once!

Wonderful meat. You are sent back in time, when the meat tasted real. The (bit long) trip to get there let's you see the animals pasturing in the natural and beautiful fields. When you enter, you can see the wood ovens and the quality of the meat displayed in a fridge and then you understand why the food tastes so great.
