Very tasty food, very fast service even if the restaurant was full! The price are affordable and the quality is high! I recommend it!!

It pays to go early…we did and it gets busy quickly!! We loved the food and we sat on the terrace which was perfect for us with or small dogs. Great lamb cooked over coals with home made fries, rice and salad.. we also ordered a side of sautéed mushrooms… all delicious. Very attentive and lovely service from Letitia…. Well priced, very good and service!

Fabulous! Original, local food. Amazing! Excellent quality and service that won’t break the bank, we went twice over the past few days and will come back next year. The most tender veal I ever had.

The "first come, first served" principle is very fair, and our experience was worth the wait at the door. Delicious bites, great prices, quick service and a nice atmosphere.

Best meat I’ve eaten on planet earth! The owner Pedro masters his craft with style. The food is divine and the staff is genuinely nice.

Muito obrigada, thanks to both of the service. Superfriedly and they do such a good job. I am sure, they are also a good team in the background. It was unbelievable tasty. Also the vino Verde tinto was so good. But most of all, thanks to the stuff.

Although there is a long wait time if you come after 19h30, the wait is worth it.
First of all most of the starters ("Petiscos") were well served and were very good. For the main dish, the "Entremeada de vitela" was amazing leaving everyone happy with the choice.
Overall a very good choice if you are thinking of dining in Gerês.

Even though we waited more than 1h, the food was amazing. The menu is composed by several starters and main dishes, but we only ate starters to taste a bit of everything. The grilled peppers were outstanding and we also tried the codfish and wild boar - also very good. For dessert, we had panna cotta with red berries and it was so good we asked for another one. I strongly suggest this restaurant, but be there early otherwise you risk waiting a lot of time!

Excellent food, but I had to ask for thick/grainy salt for my steak as they are salting too little, if anything. But the meat was awesome and perfectly seared on the outside, whilst deliciously raw and tender inside.

Excellent food! We had a few different dishes and all of them were delicious. Especially the stuffed bread! This is the best place we ate at in geres. There’s usually a line outside, so I’d recommend coming a few minutes before they open.

Fabulous Pork ribs on the grill and Chicken BBQ - very good prices too. So grateful that the hotel restaurant was fully booked :)

Very very good at a very affordable price, cheap actually for the quality! The nice lady who helped us was also very very nice despite how busy they were… Will recommend to anyone coming to Gerês…
