Such a stunning building in the historic centre near the river. I hadn’t realised that a tour was mandatory, the English speaking ones were full unless I wanted to wait a few hours so I went on a Spanish speaking one and only grasped a handful of words so I don’t really know the history of the place, but the guide seemed friendly. The tour lasted about 30 minutes, paid €7.50 as a student to get in, think it would’ve been a bit expensive at full price, but it was still worth it to see the beautiful building. Definitely recommend buying a ticket in advance, helps for planning out your day.

The Bolsa Palace, or Palácio da Bolsa, is a historic building in Porto, Portugal. Constructed in the 19th century, it showcases stunning neoclassical architecture. The palace served as the city's stock exchange and impresses visitors with its opulent interiors, including the Arabian Hall, known for its intricate details. Today, it is a cultural and touristic landmark, offering guided tours that provide insight into Porto's economic and architectural history.

Tickets for adults cost €12, and it's recommended to wait for the language-specific tour, allowing time to absorb the palace's grandeur and appreciate the view of the dome and the mosaic tile flooring. The guided tour, lasting about 30 minutes, proved to be perfect for us. Inside, the palace features stunning chandeliers, beautiful rooms, enchanting staircases, old and mesmerizing illusion-style wooden floors, and a particularly captivating Arabian Room.

We just turned up on a Saturday at about 4pm., lots of people around; and we're happy to sit and wait 1/2hr for the next guided tour in English. The tour guide was sometimes a bit difficult to understand, and we stood closer to her to hear properly. Stunning architecture and floors; each room getting better, finishing with the magnificent Arabian Room.
We are Pensioners so paid 14 euros for both of us; which we thought was money well spent.

A very interesting and sumptuous place that is for once not related to the noble class. You'll get a mandatory tour by a very passionate guide.

Incredibly beautiful place. It was an open outcry commodity trading place till 1994 after which it still remains as a Chamber of Commerce for North Portugal.

You can see the Old Portuguese money here, and this was THE business hub of it's time, so this had to be opulent. There are kilos of gold leaf work, Italian woodwork and the Arabic room is just magnificent.

There are English language guided tours for Euro 12 per person (you cannot go without a tour as it's a private property), and the tour was absolutely worth it. The guide was extremely informative and took their time answering questions.

Highly recommend this if in Porto.

Amazing place!
The highlight of the Palace is this! The 𝑨𝒓𝒂𝒃 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 that was built between 1862 and 1880 by Gonçalves e Sousa.
The room is decorated in the exotic Andalusian style (Moorish Revival style) and is used as a reception hall for personalities and heads of state visiting Porto. It can also hold conferences, concerts, and dinners.

نصر الله
is written on the walls, and it stands for
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅.

You can not enter the palace without a guide, so I suggest buying the tickets in advance.

Really nice historic place just few steps from Ribiera do Porto. You can buy tickets for quided tour in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese. Tour quide will lead you through the main rooms and halls in the building and give you informations about Palacio do Bolsa, Portos past as well as commercial rules in the city of Porto in past.
Sometimes Palacio is closed beacuse you can rent it for private events. If you want to visit it, take an informations about working hours a day earlier!

We can visit this monument only with a guide. Very clear and precise explanation. The decorations of the rooms are beautiful, especially the Arabian room. The room can be rent for events and the price is acceptable.

The Bolsa Palace is such a worthy visit for those who are getting to know Lisbon. The only option is to get a guided visit, which is 100% worth it! The guides are great at telling the story of the building and know all the impressive details to its construction. Visits are offered in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

100% Recommended visit. the ticket is €12 and it’s worth it. You will have a guided tour through the palace of about 30 minutes, going through various rooms of the Palacio da Bolsa,

A sumptuous building of mid 19th-early 20th century architecture. Those traders weren't short of a bob or two. You have to enter with a 30 minute guided tour, which was a little perfunctory but gave some interesting information. You may need to book this then come back up to an hour later depending on which language you require. The entrance lobby is beautiful and the crowning glory of the Arab Room is quite breathtaking. While you are there I heartily recommend the restaurant O Commercial for lunch in lovely surroundings with excellent food and service.

The entry ticket includes a half hour tour which can be a bit rushed. Make sure you keep up with the guide. The place is magnificent and mind-boggling. Well worth the visit.

This was a beautiful building and it was great to be able to see the inside and hear some of the history behind it. Getting tickets and signing up for a guided tour was quite easy, and the wait for the next English one wasn’t very long. Our guide was also very friendly and ensured we had the time to look around the rooms, ask questions, and take photos at our own pace. Definitely worth the visit!

Fascinating history and interesting rooms to see. A guided tour is required (scheduled based on language) and the guide was very knowledgeable. The ballroom was absolutely exquisite! You must buy tickets in person and you can purchase ahead by going to the ticket office. Children are free. On busy days the tours book up quickly!

This market place is in full swing. As soon as you walk in, you see all the day drinkers with wine glasses 🍷 and orange juice! Fruits and vegetables are great quality and we loved shopping there. It is VERT CROWDED on weekends though.

Every day when I was passing by it was full of people so I decided that I want to visit.

Although the tour lasts 30 minutes, it is very well narrated by the guide that also has an amazing voice 💖(for singing). She highlights the most important spots in a charismatic manner 🤪.

The place itself is gorgeous and it worths 💯🥰😍 The portugese people are very fond of their history and you feel this during the tour. 👍👏

Great visit! The guided your is mandatory. There is one every 30 minutes and the languages rotate from English, Spanish portuguese and French. We had to wait an hour or so before being able to get in. I would recommend buying ticket in advance if possible. But other than that the tour was amazing. Reasonably sized, no crammed and interesting explanation of many of the rooms.

Good Museum, one place to visit in Porto !

Price (Prix FR) :
Not too expensive, when we visited it was like 8€ per person as a student if you have your card.

Place (Lieu FR) :
Very rich because there are some things to see such as some painting, a room for the general meeting and votes.

Visit with a Guide :
You can't visit alone in this museum, you have to chose a hour with a Guide. The good thing is that they proposed Guides who can speak French, Deutsch, English, Spanish... that's a plus for foreigners.
