Praia de Miramar

Interesting, wide and sandy beach. Very strong waves and we couldn’t get into the Atlantic, but it was enjoyable anyway. Cute Church gives it additional flavor especially, when the rocks are covered with water during raising tide. And seashells.. plenty of them!

With an extensive sandy beach, Miramar Beach offers excellent conditions for bathers and water sports practitioners. The good accesses make us reach the sand through wooden walkways that protect the surrounding area. As support to vacationers, there are the colorful awnings, toilets, beach bar, among others. A few meters further north is the Chapel of Senhor da Pedra, erected on the rocks by the sea.

Beautiful calm Beach with a nice family running the bar and reserved Beach places. 10 euros for a spot is not very expensive, and the family prepare tasty (cheap) snacks and drinks.
