Tasquinha do Tio Miguel

We arrived without a reservation as a group of 4. Manuel informed us that it was reservation only however he then invited us to take a seat and put together the most delicious food of flaming sausage, meats, cheeses amongst lots of other things. The food was so great that we made another reservation for later in our holiday and Manuel promised us something different. Again we were not disappointed with the food, the steak was melt in the mouth!

Tip: make a reservation, bring cash and let Manuel choose your dishes for you. There's no menu here!

What an experience the food was excellent, the host spoke English so really helped with the ordering.

Football was on so a few locals came in and Interacred with us and were very friendly.

This is a lovely Tasquina which we called in for a very late lunch by chance… our host was so accommodating and even though setting up for dinner was so ‘no problem…come in’ and suggested a lunch for 2 which was fantastic and fresh…. His local tomatoes and lettuce as well as terrific steak were terrific! All of his local guests were so friendly too… the ambience in this old building by the river is perfect and cool naturally. The facilities (WC) were spotless!!!

Give the man some love! Manuel was an amazing host. We had a superb night. The steak was perfectly cooked, the meat sausage was a highlight. Good selection of wine from him. Ended the meal with a game of card. Book in advance since the host does everything by himself. Typical local spot to eat.

Ok, so, you need to get here. They do not speak English but that's no problem. The food is great! We didn't get a menu, we did get the private treatment. Good wine, port, meat and salada. It's a tiny sweet local restaurant and if you're not from around here, go eat there. We've paid 50 euros for an complete meal including drinks. Delicious food and a nice view. Local experience to a max.

If you are looking for a marvelous no-fuss, high-quality, meal, this is the place. You’ll be received arms wide opened for a meal made with love. A must stop location. Just make sure you book before hand as the host is the only one working here a needs to know in advance.

You can see that the owner is passionate about food and service. All ingredients were fresh and tasty, even the olives were excellent, house wine was good quality (not the norm for the average portuguese restaurant).
I don't eat meat and the owner made me the best bolinhos de bacalhau I had ever tasted.
Prices were super fair, would totally repeat <3

Um local a repetir, sem dúvida alguma.
O atendimento do Sr.Joaquim foi espetacular, super comunicativo, simpático e amável.
Relativamente à comida, estava maravilhosa. Presenteou-nos com um arroz de legumes e carne grelhada.

Só com reserva. Comida a base de tapas.
Mas nao se iludam... não é só isso!
Sigam as recomendaçoes do anfitrião e nao se vao arrepender!!!
A comida é caseira, feita na hora e é deliciosa.
