We had a lovely birthday dinner. All courses exceeded our expectations.I am not a big meat eater but this was the best meat I had thus far. For the quality of the food, we were surprised about the big portions. Service was super friendly and they even brought us a port wine on the house. We would for sure recommend this place to anyone! 5 stars :)

This beautiful family run restaurant knocked it out of the park. The food was amazing and our group of 24 went through most of the menu. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious with a good wine selection. The deck overlooking the beautiful pools below is a plus.

We love the food and the interior design of the restaurant is also very nice. We ordered bochechas porco (pork cheek with red wine) and it is so delicious as meat is so tender. What i also really appreciate is when we said we are not so hungry, the server recommended we order this one dish to share. It is a very good idea indeed as it is not about ordering in excess but enjoying the quality of the food. Definite reccomend!

Probably the best restaurant in Modim do Basto
Classy all the way. Had our best lunch in Portugal, overlooking the park. We each ordered the Prato de dia (they had 2 choices, baked cod with bechamel sauce, and roasted pork belly cubes and potates. Came with soup, salad and rice, all more than we could eat. All was superbly prepared. All of the above plus 1 glass vinho verde and large bottle of mineral water, totaled only 21.50 Euros. Best bargain imaginable. Outstanding wine list. Top notch service.

By far the best restaurant in Mondim. Staff is friendly and the food is simply amazing.

Love this place.

Fizemos duas refeições na Casa do Lago, almoço e jantar. Ao almoço optei pelo prato do dia, filetes, que estavam deliciosos, e o meu namorado pediu javali. Provei o prato dele, e tive de lá voltar só para comer javali (foi o nosso jantar).
A nível de atendimento, fomos sempre muito bem recebidos e atendidos (tenho pena de não saber o nome do rapaz e da rapariga que encontrámos), fizeram-nos sentir em casa. Obrigada!
O espaço é muito bonito, e grande. Contudo, e porque falei com a menina que estava lá a trabalhar, costumam ter movimento e podem optar sempre por marcar.

Restaurante com uma vista fantástica para o Monte Farinha, inserido no parque da cidade, onde também tem uma piscina. Ambiente acolhedor, atendimento impecável, a comida muito bem servida e deliciosa. Tanto o javali estufado como a barriga de leitão, 5⭐.

Ótimo restaurante, com ótima qualidade de comida e para acabar tem uma excelente esplanada com vista para a sra. da Graça. A equipa é fantástica, simpáticos, atenciosos. A esplanada é das melhores em Mondim de Basto para passar um bom bocado, tanto à noite como de tarde.

Não foi a primeira vez que almoçamos lá e o tempo de intervalo entre as visitas até foi longo…
A simpatia do staff, incluindo os proprietários, é de enaltecer , ( a proprietária ao aperceber-se que, apesar de termos a nossa, provamos a rabanada de vinho da amiga/esposa ,solicitou logo que reforçassem as rabanadas servidas!)
A confecção cuidada da comida torna qualquer visita memorável…
