NaturWaterPark - Parque de Diversões do Douro, Lda

Absolutely brilliant day out with the kids!! So many options and rides to choose from!! Shame about the animals being paraded around for photo opportunities.

What a wonderful gem for hot summer days. So many pools, and slides. Depending on the day, recommended to shell and extra EUR3 for the umbrella. Some rides were closed when we were there, assuming due to staff shortages, but it was still a wonderful experience. Lots of parking available, but get there early during summers, it can fill up quickly.

Awesome water park, excellent facilities and staff, rides are clean, well maintained, and cater for all ages. Adequate welfare facilities for families, with quite a few catering options for all tastes and preferences.

Just an overall good vibe to spend a hot weekend!

We spent our summer holiday (July, 2022) in Natur Water Park Vila Real. We always spend our summer holiday here since 2019. Our experience is always good and wonderful.

Nature Water Park has 3 main attractions for the visitors:
Aquatic Park with outdoor pool.
Camping Park
Adventure Park

Every year this place is a must for us to visit for our holiday. They start to have a new water attraction in each year which is good to attract more visitors.

Pros:
1. I advise you to do reservation earlier if you want to stay in their bungalows or mobile homes. It is difficult to find room if you book to close to the dates you intend to stay.

This year, you must stay minimum 5 nights and they don't provide any towels and bed sheets.

2. They will give a discount for aquatic park ticket if you stay in the camping ground or bungalows or mobile homes.

3. They offer many options for bungalows and mobile homes (with or without kitchen, with or without bathroom). The price is different. You can call them to clarify about prices.

We already stayed in all rooms they have: bungalow with kitchen, bungalow without kitchen, mobile home with bathroom, and mobile home without bathroom.

Since we are 3, I think mobile home with bathroom is the perfect place for us. It is enough with small fridge. And we eat in their restaurant for lunch and dinner.

4. The parking is free and quite large for many vehicles.

5. Parking accessible for wheelchair.

6. Entrance accessible for wheelchair.

7. They will give you bracelet as a ticket to enter to the Aquatic Park. You can enter and leave as many as you want. The bracelet must be always in your arm.

Each bracelet has different colors to identify from where we are. Since we are staying in the bungalows, we have green bracelet.

8. The Aquatic Park is very big. They have 2 main pools with many water attractions to try. It is better to always accompanied your kids here for the safety.

9. They rent umbrellas and benches for the visitors if they need. It must be paid in front while you pick up the umbrella or bench.

10. They have cafes inside the Water Park if you want fast food like hot dogs and ice cream.

11. Restaurant Natur Water Park
Natur Water Park also has a restaurant near the entrance. The food is cheap and in good portion. The taste is always good and delicious. It is worth every euro here. The service is fast. The staffs are very kind and friendly. They accept payment in cash or Multibanco.

12. Playground
There is a playground near the entrance for the kids to play. We often spend our time here with our son after dinner since the weather is too hot.

13. There is a toilet for free for the visitors inside the Water Park.

14. Adventure Park is worth-trying if you have many free time.

15. If you stay in mobile home without bathroom or camping park, they have free bathroom to use. Next to the public bathroom, there is a place where you can do barbecue. It is free of charge.

Cons:
1. We stayed in the bungalows without kitchen. I don't like the placement of the TV since it was to high.

Incredible day!
Family was together and we all spent an amazing and sunny day!
Plenty of slides for every ages and tastes.
It's quite easy to get there with good road signs.
