This was my second time in this restaurant. Despite only having to waiters the waiting time was not too long. They served a big delicious aperitif (you must know in Portugal it is common to serve it AND charge for it, if you don't want it, say it or don't eat it). Our waitress spoke English and communication was easy. The food is really good. The prices are quite low (around 13 euros the most expensive dishes) but there is not a lot of choice, at least for dinner (like 5 meat dishes and 4 fish dishes). Make a reservation if you can, there are not many restaurants in Monstanto and its surroundings, so it's clever to make sure you will have a place to eat.

Modern-style restaurant overlooking gorgeous sceneries. The food was very good, especially cod and octopus. Nice and friendly stuff.

My wife happened to forget her purse in the restaurant. The next day the owner herself began calling people in the village she knew might rent their appartments to tourists in order to find us. We really appreciate such a care.

I'm very hard to please when it's about food in most restaurants, but this small place serves amazing!! food. One of the best restaurants in Portugal. 20-25 euro for full course with wine. Highly recomend!
