Vegan and vegetarian friendly, creative kitchen, personal and attentive staff

A lighthouse of the mighty Portuguese cuisine. We went for respectively lamb chops and a typical local goat dish that had been slow cooked in wine for 12h in a wood oven. For desert we had the chef´s specialty: fondant / moelleux with different fillings.

Went to the restaurant with friends for a food and wine pairing evening, with music. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Food, wine and service. Also exceptional value. In my opinion the best restaurant in Central Portugal.

Judging by our experience, he has found his vocation.

The food was fantastic and will be in our list of restaurants to return to.

The food was presented very well, and the taste certainly complemented the visual delights. We gave most of the dishes very high marks e.g. 10/10 for their house specialty, Assado Misto.

The wines were really rich and fruity (damson and blackberries) with a long finish and good value for the quality, as was the food. Gorgeous!

It was fascinating watching the chef and team at work in the open kitchen & he wandered around the tables asking if people were happy with their food. We definitely were. Highly recommended!

Best foie gras I've ever eaten. We had cod fish with broa and octopus, all dishes were very good and quite a large portion.

This is a place to appreciate slow cooked food or “confitado” as they say in Portugal. The ingredients are great - fish, seafood, meat - all tasted wonderfully. Will certainly go back!

Enjoyed three of the best meat dishes I have ever had in my life. Very well seasoned and cooked. We where a party of 16 and all went amazingly well. An amazing pearl hidden away near Abrantes. Certainly hope they will continue up and running for long since I want to go back next time I'm in the vicinity.

I love this restaurant!!!
The chef did translate menu for us personally and then... He served us the best steak in my life, wonderful fish with vegetables, potato and lamb!
The portions are HUGE (when I write HUGE, I mean HUUUUUUUGE). I think we could order only fish and eat it with my whole family.
Everything is very tasty and really cheap.
At the end, Victor told us about the steak and had shown us a place where we can find the best pork dish.
If you are near this restaurant, make sure you visit it!

Delicious food, very tasty and well cooked. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The chef makes sure to speak with his guests to check if everything is alright. Excellent service. Will be back.

We travelled to Portugal lots of times through the last 3 years.
Iam a Chef, working in Cologne, Germany. Usually iam not very happy or surprised about the usual dishes in Portugal. U get mostly the same without any creativity!
But at this Restaurant we got surprised and the food was excellent, even for my girlfriend he creates a nice vegetarian dish!

Great modern twist to traditional dishes. A must if you're in Abrantes. We're getting more and more well served, restaurants wise.
