Very good food, good service. Massive selection of wine, small selection of beer. Often busy, you may need to wait, but worthwhile. Book in advance if you can. You need own transport to get there. Highly recommend

Great family owned restaurant with amazing service, great food. We ordered the mature steak for 2 people, octupus salad and mushroom salad. It was all good and service was beyond amazing.

Best restaurant in Tomar, we go there every year and are never disappointed by the service nor the quality of the food, appetizers and mains. I would however suggest more dessert options without cinnamon, that would be perfect.

We visited Oct 3rd - 2014. The A Luria has been in operation since 1979 and has won some foodie awards. Once inside it is a very pretty place. They have a number of tables near full length windows with views through the trees down towards Tomar. The restaurant was bustling. The locals clearly consider it a favorite for special occasions. We had steak and fish - both were very good. They also have a very extensive dessert menu with some very unique choices. If you are staying south of Tomar, this is a great choice for a special local restaurant.

Comemos Magusto de carne e farófias e foi maravilhoso. Carne saborosa e muito tenra. A açorda muito bem confeccionada. O ambiente faz lembrar um restaurante para jantar de família aos domingos. Gostamos muito e recomendamos 😊😊

Muito bom! Provámos magusto de carnes e era delicioso, acompanhado de açorda com cogumelos selvagens servida num pão alentejano. Maravilha! 50€, jantar para duas pessoas com vinho frisante Plexus a acompanhar!

Restaurant qui de l'extérieur cache bien son jeu.
À peine entrés on se rend compte que l'intérieur est décoré avec goût ! L'entrée en met plein la vue avec les étagères remplies de bouteilles de vins !

La salle du restaurant est sobre et efficace alliant le bois et le blanc.

Le service est rapide et attentif, tandis que la nourriture est très très bonne ! Surtout les Steak de Porc noir qui sont super savoureux ! Les portions sont tout à fait correctes également.

Seul point négatif, est le faite que la morue ait été laissée trop longtemps à dessaler et manquait donc un peu de sel.

Bien entendu le prix va avec la prestation, c'est un peu plus cher que la moyenne des restaurant portugais, cependant ça en vaut la peine.
