Beach with industrial flair. Water is warmer as it is used to cool the coal power plant. Water quality still very good! Consistent waves and a good spot to surf in autumn/winter. Several parking spots, surf schools and 2 small restaurants/bars

Lovely beach for long walks or surfing during winter. Large car park across the road.

Beautiful sea. Good waves for beginner/medium level surfers. North part has more sand, more people and warmer water. South part is wilder and has more rocks and almost no sand on high tide. The downside are big towers of the thermal power plant near the north part of the beach that may give a bad impression to the overall picture.

Pleasant beach with a very calm sea and smooth sand. Unfortunately the water is no longer warm due to the closure of the nearby coal power plant.

Very nice beach! Recommended for a stop if you are traveling from Algarve to Lisbon! The sand was soft!

Heaven at one hour from Lisbon, in particular the first beach bar, where the owner and surf guro os simply awesome.

Excelente praia, bom parque de estacionamento, WC disponível, nadadores salvadores, também tem 2 espaços de refeição/bebidas e claro os vendedores de bolas de Berlim.
O mar é super calmo e de água quente, tem uma temperatura top, as crianças adoram podem fazer imensas brincadeiras na areia no início do acesso ao mar. A areia é chatinha 😂, super fininha agarra em tudo que é sítio e coisa, preparem-se para trazer muita para casa/carros. No dia em que estive lá houve 5 casos de picadas de peixe aranha, pelo sim pelo não levem aqueles sapatos próprios de andar na areia/mar, pois pelo k percebi em agosto acontece a ovulação dos peixe aranha e daí surgirem mais casos de picadas, os nadadores estão preparados para dar toda a ajuda.
