Restaurante Raiva

Welcome to the Dauro Valley, the Octant Riverview Hotel is exceptional and its absolutely amazing restaurant Raiva is as wonderful. It's hard to imagine a hotel this far away from anything that does not disappoint...this food is amazing. It's creative and delicious. We started with this amazing tomato salad with a consume and tomato sorbet. Fresh and surprising. Also had the Ravioli with shrimp and a chorizo foam...yummo! Then I had the lamb with I don't know what but it was good. And my love had Celeriac Taglateli with a cheese sauce
Lite and fun, couple glasses of wine and their wine list is amazing. Don't miss this one.

Great wine selection and overall meal, the tortilla was a bit blend but everything else was very tasteful. The staff is very attentive and loved the traditional efforts and local ingredients being put into the dishes

What a discovery at the end of Douro River!
We ordered the 4-course set menu with wines including (Porto wine is a must, highly recommended). Excellent testing and superb product. Congratulations to the chef and his team 👏🏼

I tried one of the tasting menus and I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The quality of the food and service were really good. It is an expensive restaurant but if you want to experience a high quality service and a combination of flavors that is not found in a typical restaurant, I would recommend coming here at least once.

Excellent service, especially our waiter Lourenço did a fantastic job.
The food was absolutely delicious and we were really impressed by the presentation of it.

Superb food, worthy of at least one Michelin star. Beautiful location with great views and friendly service. This is not only good for eating at when you're staying at the hotel but even for a special detour.

(My only qualm is the markup on the wines. No '2x plus 12' here but many bottles selling at 400-500% markup. So a 8 euro bottle of sparkling wine becomes 40 euros and a glass 11. On a related note, some glasses are 1/5 of the bottle price (which makes sense), some 1/4 and some 1/3, which makes the per-glass price really high. The ports are much better priced and there is a good selection. Just be mindful when ordering.)

Escolhemos este restaurante porque estavamos hospedados no hotel onde ele está localizado, foi um refeição a dois, aconselho a fazer reserva, nós fizemos no balcão do hotel, jantar de casal.
O restaurante tem otima atmosfera , agradável, calmo, música ambiente agradável.
Escolhemos cada um uma entrada , prato principal e sobremesa.
Achei as quantidades servidas suficientes, s bem apresentados , sabor ótimo, so achamos a sobremesa tarte de chocolate um pouco pesada.
O pao feito por eles era ótimo, aconcelho a provarem junto com a manteiga.
O staff super simpático e atento. Grande carta de vinhos.
Um media de 140 euros para dois.
Foi uma noite agradável, va com tempo, é uma refeição para apreciar o momento s duvida.

Comida de auto num ambiente aconchegante e com staff muito dimpatico

Jedzenie znakomite, śniadania wręcz rewelacyjne. Przez okna można obserwować płynąca dużą rzekę. Czasem tylko nadgorliwa obsługa zabierze talerzyk, zanim skończycie jeść 😀 ale takie rzeczy zdarzają się nie tylko tutaj.
