Restaurante Ponte Velha

I really couldn't fault the service, the food or the atmosphere of the place. It was a Saturday evening and very busy, but the timing of the dishes served and the food perfectly cooked was excellent. I was expecting the mains to be a little pricier due to the nature of the establishment but it was still reasonable. I had the wild boar which was lovely.

The best restaurant!
Michelin star is on the door, but they don’t seem to be all that bothered with it.
Just great great food, with even a better service. The grouper fish was excellent, and so were the Portuguese dishes.

It should have a perfect 5star rating. Because it is the best place we’ve eaten at in Portugal, and we’ve been here for three weeks.

Quite busy, recommend coming early or making a reservation. Outstanding fish soup(secret mothers recipe). Great service.

Superb dining area with 360 views. Specially attentive staff and great food. A must do is the fish stew. Huge portions, too big really, and the price is so very reasonable. Fish selections for 7.5 euro is just an amazing deal.
