Excellent food, friendly service, nice atmosphere.
Had the entrecosto com bacon and the pão recheado. Both very tasty.

Everything at Pirolito was outstanding. From simply the olives to the food, the wine, the desserts, the service and the prices! If you're in or around Castelo de Vide and looking for Portuguese tapas style cuisine, you cannot go wrong with anything that's on the menu at this lovely decorated restaurant. Be sure to say hi to the owner and chef, she will be delighted to hear from you. Highly recommend!

We came here after striking out on a number of other locations (busy Friday night). This should have been our number one choice and we'll be back with every visit to the region. The service was outstanding and everything we ate was absolutely fantastic! An easy, delicious, and comforting experience we'll appreciate for years to come.

Super friendly, small and cozy place with live music at times, provided by the daughter of the owner. Very good food, small portions (tapas) great local drinks like artisanal beers. Can be crowded at times since it is small but it's worth the wait.

In a lovely town packed with well-regarded restaurants, Pirolito stands out offering tapas as well as larger dishes, prepared to order, so you can have a light lunch as we did or a full meal. Service and food were impeccable and even if you only stop by for a glass of wine, the dining room is calm, relaxing and chic. Firmly recommended.

Nice “Tapas” restaurant, with largely Portuguese themed small plates (although large portions!). They have a lovely courtyard and some seats outside when coming with a dog. And also some vegetarian (though no vegan) dishes.

Really, really good! The service was very genuine and we even got some free samples. A great alternative to a big heavy meal and pretty inexpensive too. Definitely go here if you're in Castelo de Vide
