Incredible place, traditional and modern at the same time. Great service. Quiet retreat, breathtaking landscapes, you can hear millions of birds singing, cows and lambs all around. You can only disconnect. The food and amenities are great. Walking around the small village is a nice treat. Vineyards, cheese and olive oil factories around are nice to do.
Loved my stay!

My wife and I surprised family with a stay at Pousada Mosteiro Crato. It was enchanting and incredibly relaxing. We whole-heartedly recommend everything about this Pousada; the professional and attentive front desk staff, the breakfast service, the well appointed rooms, the well kept grounds and all of the staff made this trip a memorable one for everyone in our party but especially for our four year old "princess" niece who was enthralled with her stay in "her castle".

My husband and I are staying here from Florida. I would highly recommend this location and the monastery/hotel. The staff are attentive they speak English well. The best part of staying here is the food. The chef is attentive to the presenting his food proudly. The taste exceeds my expectations. I am vegan and they have delicious options. I tired the gazpacho soup today made with beet juice. I don’t have words to describe how delicious it was. One of my favorite places so far in Portugal.

Excellent location, and it is very well preserved. The hotel restaurant has a small menu. Nevertheless, everything was delicious. Stay for two days or use it as a base to explore the countryside of Portugal.

Flor da Rosa's historical monastery is one of the best examples of heritage preservation and adaptation to a new function that I know of. The ambience is truly amazing — we're immersed in a magical place that was very important for the country —, and comfort is quite satisfactory. The staff is also very polite. However, the best selling points of our stay were the silence, which is, well... monastical, and, above all, the food, which has improved quite a lot since last time we were there.

What to say...
I loved it, could stay here for weeks
It was a surprise for me, so from the minute I turned the car into the hotel grounds I was blown away, what a view, what a building.what history. What an entrance.....
Staff were amazing, food was amazing wine(local) was AMAZING.
The building itself is out of this world, the restoration job was perfect and old meets new seamlessly,
Pool, spa, outdoor bar and chill garden all excellent, room with a view of local raw landscape went on for miles and miles,
One of the best hotels I'll ever stay in,, fact

Nice place. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Good food, though the restaurant is more expensive than others in the area. Our patio overlooked an olive grove and we could hear sheep's bells ringing off in the distance.

You can breath the nobility of the place. There is a mix of old historical and clean design in the architecture . Arq Carrilho da Graça has done a great job. Perfect for a romantic weekend get away. This is in a fortified house property of the order of Malta and explored by Pestana group located in a very small town.

Really pretty posada. Out in the country town is really small but nice so you will likely spend most time at posada. Great pool friendly staff

Somewhat remote boutique hotel that's a perfect stopping point between Porto and the Algarve region. The view from the private roof of the penthouse/turret is worth it.

Great place to stay. Really beautiful and comfortable hotel. Old monestary, it gives you the feeling of living on that era.
