Amazing amazing place! Best restaurant experience on the island for sure! Even if you aren’t vegan, this is a place to try. Hans (the owner) only uses local grown, from his or a nearby garden. So you can really try local produce in the most serene surroundings, with the sound of water. Hans is such a kind warm hearted person that we loved to get to know! When coming back to Faial, this will be the place to revisit every time ✨

Hans is an inspiring host who is happy to tell you all about where the wonderfully fresh food he brings to the table is harvested. We had such a great experience in this little slice of heaven. The view from the terrace is like looking into Paradise. All vegan, fresh, local, organic and sugarfree, glutenfree and alcohol free. A true blessing.

This was a remarkable experience. First of all: it's full vegan and bio, no available alcohol and only a suprise menu or some simple a la carte dishes. The incredibly friendly owner grows everything by itself or buys them at local farmers/neighbours and single handedly runs the place. We chose the suprise menu and yes it was a suprise. Every dish was unique and had an extraordinary taste which I never had before but each of them was delicious. The infused water/tea was also unique but actually good. I really recommend this place if you're up for an unique dining experience.

Hans is a friendly host and your chef all at the same time. His vegan menu is made with local and organic ingredients. The food is very tasteful and fresh. We had the surprise menu, every dish equally tasty.

You can eat inside. But the garden is were you really want to sit 😉

There is not real opening times. So if you feel adventures just go check, else just call in advance.

Tasty plant-based food and a lovely chef & owner! The restaurant is set in a beautiful location near a river full of wild tropical plants. I'd recommend visiting for a wholesome experience!

Interesting, the menu does not have a fixed price. It's up to the customer to decide how much they would like to pay.

Amazing experience. Vegan and bio, great quality and very original, there’s no menu. The host, a great guy, brings you several courses while explaining them. And the place is amazing, feels like having dinner in the jungle. And the best part… they don’t have a price fixed, you pay whatever you think they deserve. All this makes it a really original experience, so don’t hesitate to call them to book a table!

Hans cooks succulent meals on demand made with love, with fresh ingredients from his garden. The cuisine is simple but the dishes are elaborate thanks to the use of a variety of fresh herbs and a thoughtful mix of flavours. Being vegans, it was refreshing to find such a lovely place and being able to eat delicious food, but for every taste this is a culinary experience not to miss!!

Very delicious vegan 4-dish surprise menu. All dishes were cooked with products fresh from the island. We’ve discovered a lot new vegetables, fruits and flavours. For Travelers travelling with their stomach!!!

What a special magical place near a little stream and waterfall among dense forest with an equally wonderful character Hans as your host and friend. Everything feels right about this place. Natural permeates every aspect of his concept.

Such a nice and laid back corner. Lovely vegan food - set menu depending on season, but most definately worth the visit. Charming couple, kind and attentive.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is all vegan and it tastes sooo good. The owner cooks the meals himself with only local ingredients or from his own garden. A reservation is a must since he cooks for maximum 12 persons. We had the surprise menu and we ate every single bite. When you get there, you have the impression that you're in a different world and it's just perfect

It was a unique experience, but you have to love it. It is only organic vegtables from the island. You get 4 dishes, can’t chose and can not get wine or coffee or something like that. I loved it. It very tastefull and the place is great.

As a vegetarian it was a pleasure to find this restaurant, not only for the food, but for the concept. The food is from a sustainable farm, super natural and tasty. I would consider it an experience not a meal.

We had intended to visit this restaurant for a quick bite and ended up staying for a 4 course lunch menu and a nice talk with the owner. I love that he does not intend to recreate meat menus but just takes the vegetables and fruits and creates new dishes
