Fresh chilled seafood or Grilled seafood what’s your choice? We’ll they will have it here! This is the go to place if you are in Vagos to enjoy excellent freshly prepared seafood. We enjoyed both the cold and grilled platters. They came with all the standard options along with a few delicacies that you cannot get back in the states. Precebes being one of them. The hot platter came with a flaming ball of salt to finish up the grilling of well done seafood is your thing. Nice touch! The fish soup is excellent, the starters are abundant and the atmosphere is casual and a bit crowded but that because it’s all so good here. The service can be slow during peak times, so please be patient, but the food is certainly worth the wait. If you are in the area, try it, it won’t disappoint you!

I went to Marisqueira da Vagueira today for lunch with my parents, wife, and children, and we had an excellent experience. The atmosphere is sophisticated and befitting of a seafood restaurant. The wines, beers, and spirits in the cellar are of the highest quality. We ordered a grilled gilt-head bream that was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The monkfish rice was delicious, bursting with flavor. The surf and turf dish was good, although it was the least impressive of all the dishes we tried.

The service was very good, although not extraordinary - but considering the restaurant was full, we understand the challenges they faced. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal.

Marisqueira da Vagueira exceeded our expectations with its upscale ambiance, top-notch selection of beverages, and delectable seafood dishes. It's a great choice for a special occasion or a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend it to seafood enthusiasts and those looking for a refined dining experience.

The seafood was the freshest I've had in a long time. The prices were amazing for the quality. Charmingly situated near the ocean with outside seating. Try the house desert if your a chocolate mousse fan. WOW

I had marinated mussels to start and surf & turf for main course, it was the most delicious meal, cooked to perfection and the staff were lovely. I will definitely go back again.

Went for a evening meal at the marisqueira de Vagueira, and we were blown away by the starter my husband had, marinated mussels and just looked awesome and tasted divine. I didn’t have a starter because we were served some appetisers which was very generous. my main course was cod cooked in olive oil served with potatoes which was just out of this world, my husband had surf and turf, it did look amazing, everything was cooked fresh from a lady chef “Dona Isabel” our waiter Gabriel explained all our orders as our Portuguese wasn’t so good and the deserts was all made by Dona Isabel, besides a chef she is a baker as well “then one can just imagine the art of cooking “ I would consider this one of the best sea food restaurants in Vagueira area. Thank you Dona Isabel for a lovely dinner.

We have a place in Vagueira and we love it here. Hands down best food. Authentic portuguese food unlike some tourist spots. Try the cod fish!
