From the homemade pates and butter for starters, then an incredible selection of plates poetical introduced by the owner, local wine and a quiet atmosphere.
Surely I will come back to try other dishes! The Mushroom francesinha is brutal creation! 🤤

A very welcoming restaurant with warm and friendly atmosphere. Owner had his way to be kind, polite and funny without being intrusive our excessive. He make us feel good, welcomed and he really listened to us and our preferences. His suggestions were spot on!

This is the best Fracesinha and potato chips I have ever had. My Portuguese friend who has lived here in Porto for 20 years, said it is the best he has had too..:) and George!! The owner of the restaurant, he is the best. He will explain about the food and how it is made and very very friendly. Highly highly recommend this place to Anyone. Also the ambience is excellent. :)

If there was an option to give more stars for this place, I would. Jorge was an incredibly warm host, and left us with an experience I will remember for a long time. From the moment you step into the restaurant, his warm welcome gives you the perfect glimpse of the time you're about to have. He took the time and effort to explain every item on the menu, enquired about personal preferences and helped us make an informed decision.
The portions come in varied sizes, so that's a plus. The francesinhas have a rich and interesting flavour profile and the tap beer pairs perfectly with the food. Desserts and dessert wines are a must-try as well.
Jorge's warmth and passion, combined with his effort to retain and promote local, traditional Portguese produce makes this place truly special. A shout out to the wait staff for their efficiency and promptness as well!

This is an amazing restaurant, the food is excellent and the service superb, a show of it’s own. Be prepared that the available menues (also vegetarian) are quite limited — this is not a big all-purposes kitchen, just as the name says. Nonetheless, I got my own dairy free version — delicious.

Great experience! We showed up last minute and Jorge made room for us on a very busy Saturday night. He treated us fantastic! Great meal and fabulous desert.

Ive never left an comment about a restaurant, but this... i had to! This owner isn’t selling food, he is selling love true his food! What an amazing place, and what an elegant owner that makes you feel ‘at home’. I think everybody should go that a lesson from this man before it starts his own restaurant!

Such a lovely restaurant and an amazing host, you feel very welcome and the food is amazing (I got a mushroom risotto). Definitely an experience in itself to visit this restaurant!

Looking around for a place to have lunch we were very lucky to find this gem! The very friendly host was happy to explain us the menu and tell us the story behind the dishes, and the taste was beyond expectations. Everything tasted great, all ingredients were locally sourced and they were freshly prepared into the best francesinhas I have ever tasted. Even without prior notice there were excellent gluten-free foods and the company of the host made the meal an overall amazing experience!

Delicious food, everything prepared very carefully. The owner, Mr. Jorge is very attentive and friendly. The desserts "are to eat and cry for more", masterpieces. I recommend.

What an amazing restaurant. Dining here is a complete experience altogether. The host is extremely passionate and enthusiastic about his dishes and ideas. The food is amazing. Everything is home-made or locally made. Great vegetarian options. Great value. If I get the chance to eat here again I would immediately go for it.

I must say that all of our expectations were blown away by the hospitality that we were received with. We did not have a slightest idea that the night could take such a turn for better. Food was spectacular, wine was even better and the service that we got was world-class.
