The seafood was amazing and plentiful. The staff was friendly and spoke some English. This is a MUST stop for lunch or dinner. The octopus, squid and shrimp with risotto were wonderful. We also ate the Francesinha which was also very good. We spent around $30 per person for food and drink, but worth every $$!

Amazing sea food, full to the brim, so popular they made a outside space and another eatery on the other side of the road. The crab is amazing, the service is friendly. Just top notch all round

Six of us just had a delicious meal at the Xavega Mar. The food was oh so good! Service was great. Staff were very friendly and nice to answer all our questions on the area. We had squid, octopus, shrimp risotto and francesinha sandwiches. We’d all highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Excellent seafood restaurant. Great service and amazing food. Usually crowded, so sometimes it takes a few minutes to get a table. Recommended.

My husband and I when in Portugal make sure we go to Xavega, we know the food will always be excellent and the staff and Dulce very welcoming. We wish them a long and fructuous stay in this business which can be very difficult. I just want to give a very special thank you to the staff and Dulce for their understanding with my grandson allergies and the fact that they offered to make a special meal for him within his food restrictions.

We were driving back home without having a place to eat again one Monday evening. We came to find this restaurant open and serving dinner. Food and drink were amazing, as well as service with a smile! 5+ STARS! See you next Monday evening!

Best place with very good quality of sea food. The staff can show you how to eat shrimps if needed, worth a tip!
