We had a fantastic lunch here today for my husband's birthday.Lovely family run restaurant with a tiny kitchen 😂 We had moelas and cod with cream, both were fantastic. Good sized portions, bread was lovely. Prices very reasonable for quality and setting of the restaurant Great chat afterwards with all the staff , so busy enjoying a chat, we almost left without paying! Will be recommending to all of our AL guests here at Pedregulho Experience, Caldeirinhas. Thank you so much for a great lunch

Cheap, clean and cheerful. We ate a lunch of octopus salad and cod with rice with a couple of glasses of white wine for 20 euros.

Mid-week lunch stop, tapas sized portions which was great given the heat!. Octopus salad was really very tasty and rather superb, plus a “bread sausage” local specialty dish which was “interesting” & poss not for every one. Sort of traditional ‘peasant’ food with pig fat and vinegar which had been matured for 10mths.
Would liked to have tried some of the other interesting sounding dishes on menu such as Blood Sausage or Cows Hands (!)
Owner was super helpful and engaging.
5 stars too their helping out in their small but vital efforts of hosting Ukrainian displaced persons... had short but emotional talk with the waitress they had recently taken on from Eastern Ukraine..

Super delicious, fresh food. We tried the Codfish with potatoes and the Pulp o salad.

Great food and friendly staff! Recommended if you visit Almeida.

Vanmiddag hier lekker geluncht. Was allemaal heerlijk tegen een goede prijs.
Is op loopafstand van de camperplaats.
Eigenaar spreekt goed Engels en is zeer vriendelijk.
Daarna nog een koffie met gebak en een likeurtje na. Top cafe restaurant!!

Restaurante agradável no centro de Almeida. Gostei muito da sande com presunto e queijo acompanhada por um copo de vinho. Recomendo

Sitio muy acogedor. Me encanta su decoración. La comida es sencilla, pero muy rica. Lo mejor el bacalao a la nata, delicioso

Um local que recomendo vivamente: comida boa, simples, honesta; preço abaixo do expectável; cortesia e serviço. Merece todo o êxito. Pena que não exista fora das muralhas de Almeida (onde encontrei um outro estabelecimento de medíocre qualidade) um letreiro bem visível a anunciar este excelente Talmeyda.

Sitio muy acogedor, auténtico y agradable. La carta sencilla y no muy extensa pero estaba todo muy rico. La atención muy buena y cercana.

Amabilidad del personal, balallau con natas muy rico, quesos espectaculares, vino asombroso. Todo rico y muy bien. Limpieza y con un ambiente rústico muy acojedor.

Hola a todos yo trabajo en hostelería y aquí el servicio ha sido rápido respetuoso y dentro de la situación en la que se encuentra la hostelería que un día nos dejan abrir y otro día no. El precio y la calidad es bueno.
A los qué no sabéis ir sin dinero os recuerdo que pagando con tarjeta el banco se lleva comisión.
Además la camarera nos atendió en castellano.

Pequeño local dentro de Almeida, con un dueño muy amable y muy bien decorado. Tiene plato del dia y cocina casera. Recomendable

Excelente atención y buena comida. La terraza es muy tranquila y un buen sitio para comer.

Nos ha parecido estupendo. Nos han atendido muy amable, esforzándose por hablar en castellano, nos han dado un folleto turistico del pueblo. La comida muy casera y muy buena
