When I was at that area I was searching for a high rating restaurant and I found this one. It was not disappointed. It’s a little cozy place. The service was quick and friendly. I had the grilled bass. It was fresh and delicious. I would definitely like to come back again to taste some other dishes. Note the opening hour during the winter time is 7pm, not 6:30pm as Google map suggested.

The lamb, clams and Cod fish was delicious. The chorizo added some theatre to our starters.

Service was also amazing. The servers all spoke English and patiently explained and recommended the options.

The food was fantastic. Maybe the best I had during my time in porto.

A small authentic restaurant where we enjoyed a late lunch .We had clams which were among the best I have tasted and a cheese sharing board along with a bottle of douro vinho branco which was perfectly chilled and excellent for the price.The waiters were very kind and attentive.Special thanks to João.We will certainly return.

Everything was great!!!! We came here early without a reservation on a busy day and we got a table immediately. The staff were really friendly. All the food we ordered were very good.

We stumbled upon this beautiful Portugese restaurant.

The waiter and waitress were both very friendly and charismatic.

The decor and atmosphere felt very welcoming.

Their Codfish with baked potatoes & vegetables and Steak with ham, french fries & egg dishes were very tasty and well cooked.
Lots of flavor and not too over the top.

Highly recommend for anyone who would like to try a place for their tasty local cuisine.

A little place with indoor and outdoor seating. My wife and I showed up without a reservation and fortunately were squeezed into an outdoor two top. Did I say this place is small? The outdoor seating is a line up of 4 or 5 two tops. Right on the narrow street, it was cozy. The service was great. Our waitress hustled to get everyone taken care of inside and out. We had the lamb chops, the traditional (flaming) roasted chorizo and wine. We were very satisfied with the food, highly satisfied with the service, and recommend this place to anyone wanting reasonably priced traditional dishes.

For starter we had the chorizo which was fun and tasty as was on fire at the table.
Had a really lovely dish called Cod in Cream was a baked dish.
Partner had a nice pork dish.
Chocolate moose for pudding was excellent.

Best food my partner and I have had in porto so far. We had the codfish portugese sausage and chorizo in portugese fire and were so happy with our choices. Staff are very friendly and visibly care about making their customers enjoy their experience

A hidden marvel for traditional dishes with an amazingly warm and friendly staff. Delicious food, exquisite wine and heavenly dessert. Highly recommended for those looking for somewhere off the beaten track.

We are from NYC visiting porto and we ran unto this lovely authentic Portuguese cuisine, this place not only caters to tourists but to locals as well, if you want to feel like your eating in grandma's kitchen this us the spot, food was delicious and the service from our waitress Barbara was amazing

The staff was very friendly and gave a table right away. They gave us nice dish suggestions and even turned the tv to watch the Eurocup :)

THE absolute best gambas and clams we had in Portugal. Great service and a local and relaxed atmosphere. A must visit!

Great place, with amazing food and really friendly staff. Traditional Portuguese food, that tasted fantastic with a good selection of wine. Specifically, we got the fish sausage, wild boar sausage, cured meats plate and cheese plate - all were awesome even down to the green beans.
Would highly recommend stopping by for dinner (re-opens at 19:00 for dinner).

This little side street restaurant is a great option to stop for a bite of typical Portuguese food, it has a small kitchen but the food comes out in a timely fashion, we tried both the fish and meet dishes and were all extremely happy with our meals and taste. The little balls of fried cod are delicious and I highly recommend trying them, as well as the bean and fish soup. The service is great and the prices are correct especially for being so near the tourist front of the porto wine houses.

Friendly and helpful service, we were quite late but they accommodated us without a booking and did not rush us. Lovely food, all tapas were very tasty - the sausage, the clams, the cod fritters.
