O Sobreiro

The quality of the food is incredible. We were 3 and we shared 1,5 portions of 2 different dishes and it was more than enough quantity of food for us. The Portuguese tastes were incredible and this is a place that I will come back for sure in my next trip to the region.

Excellent! Food portions were big, unless I was really hungry and ate a plate meant for two people.

No veggie options on the menu but when asked the kitchen knocked up a plate for us. I had the veal and it was cooked to perfection.

Staff were informative and spoke three languages so ordering was fairly simple.

Lovely open fire to keep the place warm as well!

Very cozy place, we had octopus (shared plate for 2) which was really delicious and very reasonably priced. We ended up eating here twice the same dish, so believe me, it was really something special. We also tried their house dessert which was also very good. They have a variety of different wines to choose, also they have some basic snacks that are not in the menu (olives/bread with butter/cheese etc.)

We recently dined at O Sobreiro, and it was an exceptional experience. The codfish and roasted goat dishes were both exquisite, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. However, what truly elevated our dining experience was the outstanding service, with special thanks to our attendee, Carla. Her attentiveness and professionalism were commendable, and she made our visit truly memorable. We cannot thank her enough for her exceptional service and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and impeccable service.

Great food at a surprising price. The 2 person meal options are seriously enough for a normal family of 4. If you are a little more greedy, add a 1 person meal and take most of that home! We had the Pork and the Thick Veal Steak.

Nice staff and great food, my recommendation is the roast pork. Absolutely delicious. Be warned, it's very popular so it fills up quickly at lunch time. You'll need to get there early to get a parking spot and a table, especially if the weather is nice.

I would also add that, if you enjoy wine, you should order a bottle of vinho Verde, chilled white wine, as it goes extremely well with the pork.

Great place to have dinner. The grilled beef steak was a great choice. Also they have great coffee. We have dinner there twice. I really recommend this place.

Friendly and attentive service, delicious and plentiful food, prices are a bit high for the region although it's understandable that the area depends on tourism. Location is perfect.
