Silesia Park

Beautiful park where you can walk and visit cool attractions for hours. Zoo, cable car, large lake, food tracks, flower park, lots of greenery. 100% worth visiting. I recommend for walking and biking trips.

This is a beautiful park that's a few tram stops from Katowice rynek. There were surprisingly few people there when I visited on a Saturday afternoon for a meet-up (although it was a bit chilly!). There's a handy bar nearby the big 'Park Sląski' sign that serves draft and bottled beer. If the weather's fine and you're in Katowice, take a couple of hours to chill out here.

The park was and is a unique nature and recreation facility of this scale not only in Poland, but also in Europe, and to this day remains one of the largest projects of this type. It was also a pioneering in Europe and the largest successfully completed attempt in the country to restore the environment devastated by industry.
Today it is a really great asylum for nearby agglomerations with many attractions for the whole family.

I have not see a better city park in Poland. I came for European Games and one could easily spends hours in the park.

The biggest park inside a city in Poland with many atractions. You can go to the zoo with the family, to a theme park to try the roller coasters, or watch a football game in the stadium. Also there is an observatory of stars, bike rental with 10km+ bike roads, boats to rent to swim on the lake, chairlift over the lenght of the park, with nice views, a botanic garden, aso. Many option to eat something quick, or to have a proper meal as well. Highly recommended with family and friends!

Really big and it could take half a day to walk the territory. Easy to get there by tram.

I have been coming to this park for some years with my children and you you find plenty to do here! In the park you will find a medieval village, a zoo, a rollercoaster park, a cable car and many more attractions for the children. I would highly recommend coming here!!

Large park ,with botanical zoo ,mini Japanese garden ,stadium and rose garden

Highly recommended, really big park with lots of facilities, there is one big zoo, car cable, BBQ area, playing area for kids, you can rend a bicycle "really cheap" also there is a big happyland. Please note that the zoo and the happyland close early

If a city has park then it should be like this. It's very huge,highly maintained and lot of beautiful spots. It take you whole day to cover all the spots.

You are very lucky if you stay somewhere near Osiedle Tysiąclecia and have every day opportunity to visit such a great park.
Many caffes, zoo, funicular. Everything to entertain you. In summer great place for a walking.

This is my favourite place to go. You can socialise or get away from people. Go to a concert or play sports. The absolute all-rounder for me.

It's good for visiting with friends, family, kids and pet. There are ice cream trucks and bicycle rental stops.

A huge park with many attractions, bars and restaurants. So many trees. Colourful in Autumn!
