Castle in Olsztyn

An impressive location, monumental cliffs cutting across the hill, flanked with two large towers. Fabulous for a walk and sightseeing. Quite easy to get to from the parking though it is a bit of a climb. Just be careful on the cliffs!

At this point in early spring we only had to pay for the parking but couldn't access the viewpoint on the tower.

The castles around Częstochowa are amazing, filled with history and a must-see if you're in the area, but a lot of them only take cash for the tickets. This one especially, it's only about 10zł which is about £2 for two, which is nothing and all of the money goes to the restoration of the castles

This castle was fantastic especially for things being on lock down. Had sheep roaming and amazing views. Our group ranged from 2 years to 52 years old and everyone loved it.

Pretty but going up there was really exhausting... Would not do it again with school group. I'd rather go alone and take my time up to the top.

Good view point, easy to walk, near restaurants, nice kids play area. Prepare for paying 3 times: car park, main entrance, tower entrance

I love this place. Seen it the second time today, and although the weather was not ideal, the place is still magical. The ruins are on a hill and overlook the little villages around. It's beautiful and peaceful, even in season now. I can't help imagining what it must have looked like in the times of its splendour...

Great place every day of the year, but it's even more fun in July during the Wine Festival and Hot Air Ballon Competion.

One of the more impressive castles in the "eagles nests " area. A 14th century castle that saw battles and changed many hands, reflecting Poland's turbulent history. This one will challenge your hiking skills if you wish to really explore it and its wild and beautiful surroundings.

Great place for a family visit. Plenty of lovely space to walk, have nice local food and learn about the history of the castle.

cool place to visit and see. You can see it for free but there is nothing like museum - more like ruins so you can just take a walk. Free parking near.

Loved it! Not so much to see in the castle in itself, but the surrounding parc... Wow. Full of the rocks, which gave the Eagles Nest's Castles their unique style, which can be climbed freely and offer different views of the castle and its surroundings. The entrance is cheap (7zl)and you can wander freely around for hours. Must go with nice, sunny weather.

Cheap to get in. Good basic fun for all the family

Castle in Olsztyn is a great place to spend a weekend. It is surrounded by mountains and forests. Near by are restaurants and cafes.

Nice place with view, shadows and some climbing routes.
