Very typical ambience and atmosphere, but with a top gourmet cookery that astonish you! Everything was delicious, starting from sight, to perfumes, to taste.. and last but not least service!
Highly recommended. See you soon guys, and good work!

We had a really good time here! We have been travelling for 2 months and this was some of the best food we've eaten and affordable. Our favourite part was our 2 starters: the beef tartare and the duck/vegetable soup (the 2nd with a hint of orange). Both were absolutely delicious! We then had a schnitzel for mains which had a tasty cucumber salad and the Golabki was also very tasty. The food was well presented, portion sizes good for the price and Paulina our waitress was great! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Outstanding restaurant and the best dining experience I’ve had in Europe in the four weeks I’ve been here. Entrees of black pudding and caviar tarts were superb. Not only beautifully presented but perfectly balanced in texture and flavour. The mains of schnitzel and saddle of deer were also perfectly cooked and delicious. Fantastic wine list and I was having trouble selecting because they all looked so good. The waitress made an excellent recommendation which complemented the meal perfectly. The ambience was lovely with tasteful jazz music and a view of rooftops from the deck which was adorned with bright and colourful flowers. I worked in restaurants for 20 years and this is clearly a passion project. Fresh innovative ideas presented with love. This restaurant only needs to change it’s serviettes (which are too thin and small to put on your lap) and upgrade it’s wine glasses and it is Michelin! Thank you Akuku for a wonderful dinner.

The food is not only delicious, but also looks awesome! And the ice cream tastes so natural.

* They offer both Polish and English menu.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The food costs more than average but you bet your mama it deserves your money. The chef expertly blends traditional food from a diverse range of countries: some Polish, some French some Chinese, and much much more. The food is also impressively inventive adding surprising but perfectly matching treats to traditional dishes. The atmosphere is impeccable, it’s cozy and chill, the staff is open to talking and answering questions but not in a stuck up stiff sort of way but it’s like talking to a friend. Would absolutely recommend everyone going there. LOVE TO SEE IT!!!

Fantastic food. Traditional polish food made in restaurant quality. Very happy to accidentally fall in!

The only gripe - no napkins on the table.

Otherwise, this place is the true and mighty nemesis of Zielona Tawerna.

All dishes have distinct local flair. The tartare has a bit of beetroot mixed in, spaghetti was a Polish pasta you could probably call spaghettoni alla chitarra and so on. They all work beautifully, including the tartare which doesn't usually suffer any chefly liberties.

One of the few places where you can expect catfish to be delicious and not smell of mud.

The best place in Kazimierz for dinner with a dog 🐶 very nice staff who will suggest what to choose from the many appetizing items on the menu. You can confidently trust the waiters are honest. In addition, you can eat here with your dog, for which the staff has also prepared a menu! And this deserves a separate five stars. Akuku prepares dishes for pets out of meat leftovers from the kitchen (zero waste) and all money from sales goes to help animals ❤ Prices here sniff between 30 and 60 PLN. There is a beautiful garden which is worth booking a couple of weeks in advance, but it is also good inside. After visiting there were only nice memories :)

Very nice place, we enjoyed the food a lot. We both had the duck which was excellent, it came with a sort of potato dumplings, wild mushrooms, Cole and it went really wel together with the added sauce. The patio looks really cute with all the plants around.

This is world class dining, in a tiny Polish tourist town. The cod was superlative, and the dessert blended flavours in a way I’d never experienced. If I could give a restaurant 6 stars, I’d give this place seven.

Charming restaurant in a calm alleyway allowing to eat in piece, away from the crowded and noisy main square. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Menu is not overgrown, but well selected and specialising in one kind of cuisine. Akuku doesn't try to be jack of all trades, serving all but nothing good. Very good food, tasty and well served.

Had a delicious lunch - highly recommend the Cabbage rolls with spinach. Pork cutlet just as yummy as any Weiner Schnitzel. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and lovely outdoors seating with flowers.

Absolutely fantastic. The food was very very tasty. Having eaten Polish food all over London and Warsaw and always felt it was stuck in the past Akuku proved that you can modernise Polish cuisine to new levels.

Big thank you to the Chef who came and said hello after our meal.

Highly recommend a visit if you want Modern Polish cuisine.

Very good food, everytime we are there the food is amazing. Good quality, good taste, very good price and the portion is quite big. Atmosfere is coZy and nice, the staff is really helpful and good. Location really close to the center. There is no parking space but you can leave your car on the public/private parkings not very far from it.
