Zoo Gdańsk Oliwa

Loved the zoo. Situated in a lush green area. Animals look well cared for and had a fab variety of animals. Lots of places to sit and rest, and toilets were easy to find. Very reasonably priced too & the ticket/gift shop staff spoke English. A couple of steep hills but was well worth the walking. The petting zoo wasn't open, which was a shame, but that was due to our poor timing. Would definitely recommend

My family really enjoyed exploring the zoo. It's huge and very open to nature. They tried to keep the animals in an open environment as much as possible. Sometimes animals are kept in really narrow and small cages. But things are different in this place. Highly recommended!

A trip to the zoo will always be a good idea for the weekend. There are a lot of animals, they are well-kept, some are funny and some can be scary :D Where else will you see a giraffe or a tiger? I highly recommend it, not only for children.

We had great time in this zoo :) territory is huge, animals have a lot of space for living.
Price is 30zl for adult, free for kids under 3 years.

The only negative is that you need to pay for parking, you need to guess how long you will spend in zoo and its on gravel.

Awesome place. Huge, don't plan for less then 3 hours, longer with kids. The area is picturesque, the zoo is located in the valley between moraine hills, covered with forests. This place used to be a sanatorium. Old, Prussian buildings were transformed into zoo facilities.

There are wheelchair accessible toilets.
Prices are similar to those downtown.

Very nice zoo. Lots of variety of animals. Children would have a different experience if never have been visited zoo earlier. Carry a pram or stroller for your child as zoo is big and you will need it. Plenty of food options available at the food zone area. Enjoy.

One amazing place for animals they are taking care of them very well

What a perfect place for a great family outing. So green and nicely planned, with an enormous parking (35zl whole day) with many portable toilets awaiting. There are 2 entries so it's never too crowdy and we got our tickets online so were able just to walk in but there was no queue to buy them from their ticket booths. After entering you decide where to go first. There are wild animals from allover the world such as monkeys, lions, pygmy hippos, camels, giraffes, zebras, capibaras and many antelopes as well as apes, reptiles and birds. There's also area with farm animals but we didn't go there. It was very clean, with many toilets and rubbish bins. There're multiple refreshments places offering ice-cream, fast food bits and at least 2 restaurants as well as souvenir shop and stall.
We spent 5 hrs there and had fun all the way.
Pity, that there was so many silly people feeding the animals, petting them and worse - encouraging children to put their tiny hands through the fence and touch the wild animals!

Huge zoo park. Amazing that animals have quite enough space and can feel free to move. A lot of caffee shops for a little break. We tried cappuccino, iced latte, vanilla croissant, chocolate ice cream - everything were 10/10. 🤤👏

Amazing day out, very well maintained place. Variety of choice for food and drink.

We liked it at the zoo, a beautifully spent day

A huge zoo. Comfortable paths for walking or pushing a stroller. At the beginning of the zoo, you can rent a children's "carriage" for an additional fee and carry things or babies in it. By the way, the zoo map also costs extra, so we recommend taking a picture of the map at the zoo entrance.
Parking is also paid.
In the garden there are many cafes, snack machines, rest areas.
We spent 3 hours at the zoo, but it can take much longer (it rained).
It is best to arrive at the garden as early as possible before it is too crowded. From noon they start to increase, sometimes queues form.

This has been the best zoo experience I've had in my life.
There was such a great variety of animals and they had amazing enclosures, with plenty of information on the animal and it's endangered rating.
That animals all looked happy and did not appear stressed whatsoever.
It really was an amazing day out.
Would 100% recommend.

Not the biggest Zoo, but you can spend 2-3 hours here with eating some snacks.....
Remember that they have a Ticket machine for buying tickets. Its placed near the the entrance...

Great animals, easy to navigate, and clean park. The animals are taken care of really well and seem happy. The exhibits are stunning and very well managed. Walkways are clean. Has a petting zoo and a wide variety of other exotic animals. Children can handle a trip through the park and food and drinks are available. Takes about 4 hours but it is an enjoyable experience.

Absolutely love this place. Went as a kid and I still go there now. I especially enjoy the adventure park located inside the ZOO. Great for family outings and for a meet with friends. There are cafes there so you can have a meal or a snack inside. The tickets are very good value and definitely worth it. The adventure park has many routes which make it great for kids and adults. Just a great experience.

Really nice place with a lot of animals and beautiful views. There are many cafes and benches to take a rest, the possibility to rent a trolley for kids is a great option too, as the zoo is really big one. It's the best zoo I've ever visited.

Great place for family weekend, for a date or even you may go there alone. If you want to see everything, you need to have at least 3.5 hours. But I advise you to plan at least half of the day for this. Be aware that some animals a going to sleep quite early and you won't see them in the evening.

I liked it, it's located in the forest. There's so much space for animals. They feel themselves like in wild nature.
