Pyra bar Gdynia

Self service, no frills destination for lovers of potato in all its forms. We had dumplings and potato casserole, mountainous portions and great value! Come hungry.

I went there for quick lunch. Restaurant is located in the centre of Gdynia and has really nice decoration. Main focus of this restaurant is ,,potato". Food was really tasty, prices acceptable. I saw at some other table that they serve very interesting, oryginal french frites. I need to come back to taste them next time.

Great place for potato pancakes. Busy place, and queues tend to be long. You must get a table, then head to the till to order. Tables have numbers on them, be sure to give the table number.

The food is amazing, fresh, tasty and greasy. 3 pancakes, all very filling. Van be shared between two. Picture is of salmon with potato pancakes.

The food and customer service were excellent. They were super friendly and served people with their real heart. Great location and atmosphere!Highly recommended!!!

Don't get fooled by the photos. I've visited Pyra early in the morning mid week hence the empty tables. This is a very popular spot, making it difficult to get a table. Very interesting menu. Potatoes as a main ingredient in awesome dishes with various additions. To sum it up. It's a place where you can eat reasonably priced and tasty meals suitable for everyone in convenient location. May the POTATO be with you :)

I am not the biggest fan of potatoes, but these were delicious. Big portions of very tasty meal for great prices. Especially their potatoe pancakes with smoked salmon are so yummy.😋

The portions are huge and the quality of the food isn't bad either! If you're looking for something potato-related, than this is the best place to go!

Very original style, we had the potato pancakes with some chicken/spinach sauce and some potato cake with bacon and a mushroom sauce... Very good price, nice presentation of the dishes... Very recommend. I would definitely come back to try other dishes...

I’ve eaten here multiple times, it’s always been good. The staff and nice and friendly and usually speak English.

Best potato pancakes! Have been visiting the restaurant both in gdansk and Gdynia, they have a good standard with a good price!
My fav is the one with chicken creamy sauce. I tried the one with tuna mayo, it was good as well but still the chicken creamy sauce is the best for me.

They have 10% discount as well for student. Don't forget about that! 👍

I have to say that I have never been in such a bar where almost everything if not everything is made from potatos. As a group of friends we have ordered 4 different dishes and all of them were very tasty. Portions were big enough to fill a hungry guy. All above, together with fairly low prices and placement makes this bar attractive for tourists. Good thing is tha You can order food with additional portions, but before You decide, look at neighbours table how big portions are. Bar have a seats outside when wheather is good. Staff is friendly and food is made quick enough. I recommend it.

Delicious recipes based only on potatoes. Reasonable price. Close to the seaside. The concept is really cool and you can find the same restaurant in few other cities in Poland (Poznan for example)
