The Yak Cafe Hunza

This place is out of this world!! Situated near Eagle’s Nest, it has amazing mountain views. Due to altitude sickness I couldn’t eat as much as I would have liked to. However, whatever little food I was able to eat, it was absolutely delicious! It is a must visit in my opinion while visiting Hunza. The staff is friendly like everyone else in the valley. Definitely worth the hype!

Tried the yak burger, chap shoro, dowdo soup and apricot walnut paratha. Staff are kind and helpful and the food was delicious. Lunch was so tasty we came back for dinner

We ordered the Yak cheeseburger, Yak karahi and Yak club sandwich. All items were made and seasoned just right. The yak karahi was our absolute favorite. Highly recommended.

Really loved the food here. All the things were awesome . Yak burger ,yak chapshoro, yak karahi and chicken biryani. All of them were on above the other

I was been to the Yak cafe with two groups of tourists one was a korean group and another was from Karachi Pakistan, I was overwhelmed to see the hospitality and professionalism of the staff working at the Yak Cafe in the beautiful valley of Duiker surrounded by the majestic moutains of Karakoram all around. The food they prepare and serve has got a next level taste and is very hygienic. I highly recommend the soup as an apetizer before any food you order there and if possible, don't miss the yummy Yak burger with a glass of freshly ordered juice.
I highly recommend the Yak cafe to allnthe visitors going to Hunza. And don't forget to take a selfie with the Yak statue available at the cafe..

Me and my husband had their chicken cheese burger, we were quite doubtful at first but after having their burger we were actually startled by the level of commitment they are putting in to satisfy their customer’s taste buds. We are typical lahoris with high expectations when it comes to testing new food which usually is disappointing throughout north but they didn’t fail to meet our level of expectations, though it was mild spicy but we loved how fresh and juicy it was.We really appreciate their hard work in maintaining their quality of food at this altitude.

The best food I had in all of Pakistan! I especially loved the Yak Burger, the Yak Karahi and the Chap-e-Khum. They also have very tasty fresh fruit shakes.
The owners are super friendly and very welcoming.
It's a must do for food lovers visiting the Hunza area!

I visited there with my family on October 9, 2023 and tried their traditional Yak ChapShoro and Yak Cheeseburger. The food tasted really great, and it offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Very nicely done cafe on eagle nest Hunza... Best thing about them is there always make your order fresh right at the moment which might take a bit linger but the food is amazing... Stuff is good and the head chief will tell u in detwil what their local delicacies are.. its not just the name they hav a stuffed Yak standing in their cafe. Must try when in hunza.
