The Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a public university located at Havelian (12 km (7.5 mi) from Abbottabad) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

AUST was started as the Havelian Campus of Hazara University in 2008 and got its own charter in 2015. There are four faculties within the university, listed below.It is affiliated with the Higher Education Commission.

A good university

A public sector university in the heart of mountain. The university offers various degree programs on BS/MS levels. They even have few PhD programs. The faculty is highly qualified and fees are very nominal in comparison to other universities. It's a young institute though, but the progress of the university is well noted. The university has well managed cafetaria and few huts outside the university.

This is a developing university. As time passes new departments are being opened and new buildings are being developed. Lecturers are so dedicated and pay full attention to their students as like in school and colleges.

Initially it was the branch of Hazara University with some of departments here but now it has been upgraded to University....
Abbottabad University of Science & Technology accepts admissions from all over the Pakistan. University also encourages cultural diversity & welcome candidates from AJK, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit, J&K, FATA & from all over the world.

This university established after 2012 . There is pharmacy department is largest department. This university situated on motorway interchange. Contribution of this institution is a milistone in development of hazara region as well as pakistan
