Located at the junction of old city Bazars, the Jamia Masjid Alsadiq is an architectural beauty. As the mosque is surrounded by a cluster of old city markets so best time to visit is early morning, before the market rush opening hours. Like other old cities, here near the Jamia Masjid Alsadiq you can find many famous Nashta Points, Halwa Puri, Nihari etc. It is an easy walk from any city gate of Bahawalpur. Beautiful Jamia Masjid al-sadiq of Bahawalpur Its foundation stone was laid by Great Sufi of Chishtia clan and the Spiritual Master of Nawab of Bahawalpur Noor Muhammad Maharvi more than 200 years ago. The renovation was done by the order of Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi in 1935 after returning from Hajj.
The total area is 24 kanal, and almost more than 60,000 people can perform prayer at one time.

Reconstructed in the reign of Nawaz Sharif.
The buliding of the mosque consists of two portions.
One is ground flour which is smaller in size.
The 1st floor is much bigger than ground flour.
Very beautiful scene.
The big minar is about 250 feet.
Two other are 150 feet high each.
The area of mosque now is contacted than earlier when it was built.
The mosque is under Govt of Punjab.
Historical place to visit for one who love to enjoy architecture and history.
There is also situated a market under some parts of the 1st floor of the mosque.
It was overall a very good experience.

The revenue generated through rents of the bazaar underneath the masjid is spent in the repair and maintenance of the Masjid. It has a capacity of around 50-60 thousand people and is a sight to behold.
